Liked the modern feel. Friendly staff. Hot breakfast items, but a waffle maker would be nice since the pancakes take a really long time. Liked the lobby and coffee bar.
I really liked the soft pillows and comfortable bed.

Primary reason we chose this property were: they allow pers, location. And price.

Breakfast was exceptional and fresh every morning. The room was amazingly clean and very spacious, and the staff was very friendly. Overall this was a great experience and I definitely suggest staying here in the future!
This particular property is disappointing. Obviously the owners don't care about a quality product and cut corners on breakfast unlike any other Quality Inn I've stayed. Also, the front desk staff could use more training. Seems everyone was having issues with the key cards - our door looked like it was badly damaged as if it had been broken into and pieced back together. Had to have keys reissued multiple times.

The bed was very comfortable.
The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast provided a good start to the day.
On the down side was that there were a lot of cobwebs in the room which made us question just how clean the room really was.

The staff was rude the manager was obnoxious and she was racist. Hotel was dirty and not accommodating at all. Denied my group because it was 15 Black people and said didn’t have enough staff to accommodate us. Also said we were intimidating and would call police if we didn’t leave lobby asking for refund. We encouraged her to call police but she never did because she was being recorded and was in the wrong. We didn’t spend 1 night at this place.

The area is beautiful, and it's close to family members and GREAT shopping. I normally stay in Fredericksburg, but it was a little farther than I wanted to drive. There is a McDonalds and a Dairy Queen within walking distance. The downside is the location of the hotel next door. It looks as if it rents rooms by the hour, and the clientele who stay there were scary. They were outside, talking loudly, for the majority of the night. In daylight, they were even worse. They were definitely meth addicts. Someone was working on a car in the parking lot, and several 18 wheelers were parked behind the hotel.

We came to Thornburg to go to Lake Anna State Park but the hotel was terrible and we did not stay. There is an abandoned Burger King across from the hotel that has a small polluted pond. Trash is everywhere.
There was one bright spot we found during our short stay—Poco Loco, a Mexican restaurant. The food is very good and the servers very pleasant.

Quaint area between Fredericksburg and Richmond, VA.
Quaint area between Fredericksburg and Richmond, VA. Friendly folks and a wonderful Italian restaurant. A great area to live and raise a family. Battlefields and a speedway nearby.
Commuting to your place of employment outside of Thornburg would be a problem due to the massive traffic.
