Close to Sargeant & Matagorda beaches and of course my family! Booking.com site I will not use again because I screenshotted the booking page that said the room was refundable but when I went to cancel it to go back to Comfort, it was definitely not refundable. Buyer beware!

I wrote a scathing review- under the impression, I was writing for an OYO hotel that I had recently stayed at. So my evaluation of the Baycity Hotel was NOT correct, and I apologize. If the reviewer looked at the photos, they could tell its not the same property, as the pictures all show RED exterior - where the super 8 in Baycity is tan/gold color.

Bay city is a small town with small city charm.
Bay city is a small town with small city charm. We were in town for a family reunion but would’ve liked more time to explore it. There were historic buildings in the center of town that housed several local businesses. We had great coffee at Mainstreet Coffee and Wine Bar which was yummy.

Great selection at your breakfast buffet as well. My first visit to Bay City and she was so informative of restaurants, internet service the town in general. She made my trip an amazing experience.
