As for the city of Murfreesboro,, it's always a pleasure to visit the city I grew up in. What I do not recommend is staying at Clarion Inn. Simply put, do not waste your time or money staying there. VERY BAD.

Very new and upcoming. Lots of lovely restaurants along with the usual chain restaurants. I highly recommend Sal's Pizza! Excellent Italian and Sivilian entrees, pizza and appetizers. Plenty of shopping and places to stay.

Lots of great places to eat and most people there were very friendly, but the traffic is busy most of the hours in a day or night, I would suggest planning your commutes with time allotted for busy traffic.Also, The Chop House has excellent food and customer service.

I love going to Murfreesboro.
I love going to Murfreesboro. My grandson is a student at MTSU and I go there to visit him. I love this city it is a mixture of country and big city. The restaurants are great (and there are lots to choose from). The city is clean. At times the traffic is heavy, but I really don't mind because it's an easy town to get around in.
