no outdoor pool (as advertised) no free breakfast (as advertised) sent us to the WRONG hotel (missed part of our event, wasted gas); the staff was unmotivated (the indoor pool was so crowded we did not even stay); the only nice feature was the comfy bed

My room was excellent and so clean
My room was excellent and so clean
The kitchenette came with everthing imaginable even dish detergent...lol. great location and close to everything. Staff friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here.
2nd time staying. Breakfast was great. Coffee and tea bar, orange and apple juice, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, yogurts, hard boiled eggs, fruit, bagels, toast, muffins. Also, the pool is on the smaller side but it was very warm this time- which was fine. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly. The room is adequate- fridge, microwave, TV, desk, armoire and night stand...Small pillows, but they are ok. We have stayed her 2x and will stay again.
The carpet in the room was terrible, we thought that the stains were blood, the wallpaper was falling off the walls, the baseboards were coming off, there was no TV remote, the hair dryer was ripped off the wall, two thin sheets on the bed, no blanket or comforter. We were there because my wife was attending her mothers funeral and it was too late to even think about changing anything because we had family on our minds.
I liked nothing about this hotel because our reservation was cancelled by a guest that was having a wedding there and it was allowed by one of the staff members, don't know if it was the manager or not. I am LIVID that this happened!! We ended up at a shady looking hotel because nothing was available because of this guest basically reserved all the hotels around Candlewood.
It's an extended stay which means basically an apartment in a hotel, very convenient if your on a longer business trip and want to live like at home with cooking and doing laundry. The staff is nice and helpful, on the ground floor there's also a small "marketplace" always stuffed with basic stuff in case you need it and don't want to go to a shopping centre.
The breakfast, the room was right next to the elevator an the ice machine. The luggage carts had solid wheels and were easy to steer an move. The firm an soft pillows and the beds were very comfortable. The towel rack inside the shower great idea. Good size vanity. Great selection of TV channels. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the room.
What is there to not like about Candlewood Suites? In my opinion they are about the best hotel chain around! The location of this one is ideal. Lots of restaurants, stores, banks, even a Walmart and a casino are within a short drive, minutes away. And a truckstop and mini mart are across the street.
Location of property and the guy at the front desk was really accomodating and super friendly. Also, I needed a pet friendly hotel and this property charges a reasonable pet fee ($10 per nite).
Didn't like nothing about it service was bad from the time I walked in.. then they didn't have my reservation I ended up paying more room had bugs the shower didn't work it was just bad
