Perfect place to get away, easy to get to, lots to see and explore if you are looking to absorb some unique history, natural beauty and serenity. I found an unadvertised picnic area next to the river just up the road from the Inn, perfect picnic dinner spot. Food and total environment at Abiquiu Inn was lovely, but don't miss a stop at Bode's if you need to pick up some fresh produce, groceries or excellent baked goods. This was an ideal destination for traveling solo.

Stunning setting, nights of quiet and stars, friendly staff and guests giving sense of security, 360 degree vies from the Mesa, hikes on site, and wonderful base for exploration of north central New Mexico: Abiquiu, Santa Fe, Taos, Chimayo.... And a wholesome breakfast in a large dining hall or under the trees to start you off! The dorm rooms with bunk beds are simple yet functional and clean - we slept so well, never closing the door! Walking to the shower room in the morning was a joy, with the view spread out in every direction! The day before we left, a new set of guests arrived, with many active children, yet at 10 PM all fell silent, and the night was as peaceful as ever! We'll be back!!!

This is a great place in northern New Mexico. It is close to the Georgia O'Keeffe house in Abiquiu and the nearby Ghost Ranch. Stunningly beautiful country with many outdoor activities. The inn has comfortable, clean and well-placed casitas with plenty of open area. They are exceptionally clean. The office and adjacent restaurant has local art work. Our dinner and breakfast there were wonderful. And very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I love visiting Abiquiu and staying at the Inn, and I was very happy to share this special place with two friends. The facilities are beautiful, and we all felt happy and peaceful just being there. The meals at the cafe are consistently delicious. We also loved going over to the O’Keeffe Welcome Center to see the exhibits and short film.

I LOVED this property! Huge outdoor property surrounding the rooms with trails for walking and various spots for socializing. I enjoyed taking my walks every morning! The suite had so much character and was very clean and comfortable. A true New Mexico vibe and experience.

This place is exceptional. Up high on a masa the view is beautiful Northern New Mexico. El Sol is luxury “glamping” - no refrigerator but a nice cooler so bring your own food. Or you can go locally for great food. Room with kitchenette shower bathroom. I will return!

We love the location and our 2 bedroom, with a kitchenette was located near the back boundary where we had a lovely and private view of a horse pasture.

Food was quite good as was the service. The photo is of Ghost Ranch, 14 miles from Abiquiu where O’Keeffe also lived and painted.
