Great little place. Nice if it would have been in walking distance of Camden but nonetheless a sweet, uncrowded place to hang our hats for a couple nights. Mount Battie was an excellent hike for us. We adored the Lincolnville Center General Store and glad that we could soak up that atmosphere and eat the delectables from there.

We had a great time.
We had a great time. Staying mid-week, was a tad challenging as finding open restaurants wasn't easy, but we enjoyed it all. Great hiking around Camden State Park. Beautiful coast and enjoyed the quaint town of Camden, just next door

Good hiking nearby in addition to being right on the ocean.
Good hiking nearby in addition to being right on the ocean. Great trails at Camden Hills State park. Great mountaintop views. The towns nearby--like Camden, Belfast and Rockland--were fun to explore. Not a lot to do but fun to walk around and see all the boats.

The town beach(es) are super clean and accessible. Proximity to Camden and other area attractions are very convenient. While Lincolnville is small, it had all the necessary amenities for a weekend on the beach.

Lincolnville is a very small village, not a lot of action there, but a nice little beach. But if you are looking for a peaceful get-a-way where your hotel is not next to a major highway or in a busy city, the Spouter Inn in Lincolnville is the place to go. If you are looking for nightlife, it's only a short drive away.
Glenmoor by the Sea is the hotel gem you always hope to find. It is charming, spotlessly clean with a beautiful view and the breakfasts delivered to the room because of Covid are delicious with warm baked goods, carafes of coffee and tasty frittatas. We spent 10 days there while we explored Maine in the fall and we admired the service and the staff’s work ethic more every day! (It’s usually the other way around.). If this review causes anyone to book a stay, I’m glad, these hard working people deserve every success.
Perfect location near water, beach, seafood restaurants, hiking in Camden Hills State Park, Camden, ferry (20 min ride on the water with lighthouse on the other side of the bay). The room called the Crows Nest has 2 sliding doors onto the deck with a view of the water and beach, facing east. Nice to sit outside to eat or have your coffee outdoors with sun coming up. Warm and friendly atmosphere with welcoming and helpful host
Hosts welcoming and doted on us. Since I was a little girl travelling to my mother and grandmother's home town I'd looked longingly at the Duck Trap Motel up on that hill overlooking Rt. 1 above the Bay. Now, in my 60's, I have finally gotten to stay there! Totally upgraded rooms, with heat pump technology, wi-fi, refrig, microwave (AND popcorn to enjoy!), coffee maker, great shower all in a lovely, quiet setting.
Fantastic B&B located directly opposite Lincolnville Beach. Marc and Linda are superb hosts and could not be more welcoming, offering advice on places to visit as well as delivering delicious breakfasts. There is an honesty bar in the property and two great Lobster Shacks to eat at within a stones through. It's a must stay for anyone doing a New England road trip and we cannot recommend more highly.
Everything. From the moment we arrived the outdoor patio welcomed us in. Greeted by Linda and Marc in their cozy historic Inn, we instantly felt at home. After a brief tour, Marc showed us to our room which was warm and inviting. Pictures do not do justice to this beautiful bed and breakfast.
Location was great- Lincolnville has just enough to keep busy without overwhelm. Restaurants within walking- beautiful sea views - the Isleboro ferry! Lobster!
Our host Dorothy was attentive without being hovering- loved her!
No breakfast but Dots at the top of the hill was Awesome ❤️
The view from the balcony was great and there was a convenient pizza / sandwich shop next door. The beach was directly across the street and was very convenient. Parking for the beach was also very easy and free for 4 hours.
We loved every moment we spent in the Inn at ocean edge the location is stunning, facilities are great and breakfast is nom traditional and excellent . Everything we needed for the perfect weekend getaway
