I was extremely disappointed with my rental experience because you (Booking.com) would not honor a simple request to have my hotel location switched from one city (Fresno) to another (Los Angeles). Furthermore, you would not even honor my secondary request to waive the cancelation fee. Regardless of your policy, either request should have been honored. I am a dissatisfied customer and will never do business with you again.

The wonderful little town of Clovis is like stepping into the Old West with lots of little streets, shops, restaurants and cafes to explore. Be sure to stop in at Kuppa Joy for a great cup of coffee - it's our favorite spot to relax with friends and family.

We traveled to go visit relatives in the area, so we only stayed for a couple of nights, and we always stay at this motel. Clovis is a very Western town, with many shops and boutiques. It is probably one of the nicest places in the Fresno
área, and very safe, in my opinión.

There are many city parks to walk in. Plus, Clovis, CA is about an hour’s drive to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Yosemite NP is only a little further.
Clovis itself is very clean with lots of shopping.

Our bathroom smelled like urine.
Our bathroom smelled like urine. We were located on level 3 and could hear everything from above us to next door to us. The walls are paper thin and can hear everything even when you have the sink water running.

No issue with Clovis, its a town thats not a tourist location. The Old Town is a hidden but good area to visit for shops and restaurants. On hearing our accent a few people seemed surprised that we were visiting Clovis. I explained that it served our purpose for visiting the parks prior to moving further toward the coast. Met some really friendly people and had some good food in the Old Town. If you like good beer and pizza then Blast & Brew is different but good. Self -service beer, whats not great about that? Not much else to offer for a tourist but thats my fault not the towns.
The hotel was pretty nice and updated. The location was close enough to restaurant and the auditorium we had tickets to. Bed was comfortable and the room was a great spacious size. Quiet hotel. Free coffee in the lobby. They offer free Toiletries and they actually used Dove brand products which was nice. They had a mini fridge that actually worked and got very cold and had a microwave. Overall nice place to stay.
Breakfast well attended and maintained by workers. The choice of eating in lobby or taking food to room. A good variety of food groups to choose from. The parking out of direct sun light (especially in summer) and close proximity to highway 180 to visit the Sequoia National Park, old town Clovis, and plentiful places to eat ,shop and get gasoline.
The staff was outstanding from the moment I walked into the lobby until the morning I left. They went out of their way to see that the stay was comfortable and convenient. The higher level of curiosity and friendliness was refreshing during the post-Covid-19 travel experience. To all at Hilton Garden Clovis: Thank you! Job Well done.
I enjoyed staying in this hotel so close to everything Clovis! Although there is definitely a vintage vibe here ( think spacious rooms with a kitchenette, large old west murals decorate each room… and the old style motor access hotel style) things have been nicely updated, everything worked, and everything was clean. Great!!
Quite the surprise in Clovis - Very comfortable and well equipped kitchenette WITH DISHWASHER!!!!!1 - our next stays will be here instead of airbnb's. There are even two large apparently guest-accessible pro gas grills outside in a nice patio area next to the saltwater pool.
Really good hotel in Clovis, in a safe neighbourhood, good to explore local breweries. We picked Clovis over Fresno, and it did have a better feel about it (so one could use it for visiting Fresno too). We walked around relatively late and felt safe enough.
HGI theme is very nice. Colors, spacious & airy common areas, decorations are not overwhelming. I’ve stay in a few of these hotels and I love them. One less than pleasing experience won’t deter that.
