We had a wonderful stay on our first proper family holiday...
We had a wonderful stay on our first proper family holiday with our nearly 2 and nearly 4 year old kids. Vasho and Resi who were the employees we saw day to day were great with our kids and made us feel hugely welcome. The accommodation itself was well set out and nicely done so we felt v comfortable. It felt like it was 2-3 years old so nice, new and clean. Pool was a good size for kids as was the small play area and the local beach was perfect for us. It’s not the best we visited but for our needs it was great. Clean, good facilities and very shallow, and calm, water a long way out so the kids were comfortable. Nice restaurants nearby too in the 3 Brothers and Gregory’s Taverna. Hire car a must and we were able to do a few good day trips to the west and east coasts in 30-45 mins. Would definitely return!

If you want a quiet location away from lots of tourists with...
If you want a quiet location away from lots of tourists with all essential amenities on your doorstep this is the place for you. There are two most fantastic tavernas within a short walk away that serve fresh fish cooked to perfection. Do try both Gregory’s and the Three brothers (the latter just have the edge in our opinion). We stayed at Villa Bambas which was perfectly situated and had the most fantastic views of the sea from our balcony. We will definitely be visiting again. Astrakeri is a small village that can be reached either by car or by so-called Green Bus (but then you will need to walk about 1.5 mile). It has several restaurants, local car rentals and very nice beach. A small super market with all needed things is placed in the Astraceroula Apartments.
