I loved Parga although it was hilly so not suitable for all.
I loved Parga although it was hilly so not suitable for all. The shingle/ pebble beaches were beautiful, would recommend getting beach shoes to negotiate getting in and out of the sea.
There were plenty of bars and restaurants serving delicious food.
People are friendly.

We have been visiting Parga for many years now.
We have been visiting Parga for many years now. It isn't for everyone though. We don't mind walking but it can be difficult for the elderly or infirm. The beaches get very busy and this September busier than ever before. I wouldn't have thought ideal for families unless a pool on site, which there are several. If you want a rowdy night life I don't think you will get one. Can be expensive prices have risen quite a bit - 2 beach loungers 15 euro
Negatives done with.
We love it, restful, peaceful generally, welcoming, good food, good drink, genial hosts, safe day and night, beautiful weather, beautiful scenery. I can't find fault. Just don't tell anyone else as we want to keep going back.

The location is really beautiful and the beaches are also quite nice. But that’s all it is the customer service there is the worst. Locals believe that just because they do business there they should get paid without adding any value. We got 3 times food poisoning. The prices were ridiculous for low quality products and services. The fact that there are unlimited tourists in the area made the locals arrogant. One of the worst vacations ever

Parga is stunning.
Parga is stunning. There are loads of long clear water amenitities-rich beaches near by, although the one taking the cake is Ai Giannakis beach, located literally next to the centre of Parga, and you can walk/swim to Panagia island outside the port. This is fantastic. Parga's alleyways are picturesque and rich in shops and places for a coffee or drink and it has a fantastic night life. I like Parga because you can see everything in 2-3 days and then just relax or use it as a base for great trips nearby to either nearby islands or inland locations. What I didn't like is the food. I am Greek myself and I couldn't find - for the life of me - a place where the food is above average. Parga is really lacking in this and everything is prepared very blunt and the portions are small and way way overpriced for what you get. This is the case only in Mykonos and Santorini in the rest of Greece and it is in stark contrast to how consistently fantastic the food is in nearby Preveza's alleyway restaurants.

We loved Parga.
We loved Parga. The beaches in the area are lovely and the town itself is just beautiful. It is picturesque, has great food and beautiful people. The main town comes to life in the evenings and the main harbour- what can I say! It is a sight to behold and the vibe is fabulous! We had a wonderful time in Parga and it’s surrounds. Would highly recommend it!

Parga is lovely, the kind of place you go once by chance...
Parga is lovely, the kind of place you go once by chance then back every year. An absolute gem of a town. Packed in summer, but even that doesn’t spoil it. I imagine it’s perfection in the shoulder season.
We loved a cafe called Flavors, which also rents loungers on the town beach. Brilliant food, lovely people. If you have kids, get one of the pedals with a slide too. So. Much. Fun.
And I’d absolutely recommend Lithos restaurant - a little tucked away gem with the most amazing Greek food. Especially traditional dishes like moussaka and pasticcio. Wow. Call to book if you don’t want to wait, you’ll have to if you just show up.
Experiencing something more authentic with a homely feel.
It was only a 10 minute walk to the center of Parga but far enough away from the noise of the town. Stunning views and peaceful natural surroundings. Idyllic. There was also a lovely organic vegetable garden, which we were able to use (the aubergines were delicious).
Delightful place that felt more like a home away from home. Sofia was very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Lovely neighbour's too! Would highly recommend. We are already planning a return trip! :-)))
Loved our stay here for 7 nights, Great room on the top floor overlooking the pool and valley. The room was large and very comfortable and we had a nice large balcony. Good beds and bathroom too with some basic kitchen equipment (all we needed). The hosts are truly wonderful - helpful and very accommodating. Pool was perfect to relax at the end of the day or just chill out. We drove into town (parked near the BP station) and then walked the rest of the way. Too far to walk (for us) into town from the hotel.

I recently had an incredible stay with my family in Parga, Greece.
The accommodation was perfect with a stunning sea view and a delightful rooftop. Our host was exceptional, ensuring our comfort and providing excellent recommendations. The location was convenient, allowing easy access to local attractions and beautiful beaches. It was a truly memorable experience, and I highly recommend this accommodation for a fantastic getaway in Parga.
The Sunset Hotel Parga is a clean and comfortable hotel located at an elevated position with a great view over the sea, as well as of the town of Parga itself. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and beach. Parking was very convenient with ample spaces during my stay (late March), though I would imagine during peak periods, there wouldn't be sufficient parking spaces for everyone. The hotel represents great value-for-money.
Nice location close very short walk to beaches and town, supermarket and bakery. Very clean and well equipped with nice view of town and castle from windows and balconies. Best of all was the unforgettable host, Elli the energized owner who went ‘beyond great’ to welcome us, upgrade our room, let us stay longer, and helped us personally at a time of need the way sometimes not even relatives do. True Greek filoxenia- loving welcoming!
Exceptional location of Pagiatakis Suites, waiving the parking nightmare issue off your head during the whole stay in Parga, as every point of interest downtown is just 3mins walking distance.
Very friendly hostess, Mrs Roula, with her exceptional customer services skills always willing to assist and provide her valuable input and knowledge of local;
Thank you for the memories Roula and the beers ;) cheers!!
Andreas Kanali was amazing in everything. The location is perfect to reach either the beaches of Parga or the town center (everybody parks there on the evening). The hosts are friendly, kind and attentive. Rooms are large, super clean and with a priceless view on the bay. The pool is small but very nice and also with a view on the sea. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Beautifully decorated, big room with very comfortable bed and coffee machine provided. The host was lovely, very friendly and welcoming upon arrival and departure and always available at short notice for any queries. Lovely terrace and garden area. Good, quiet location, walking distance from Parga town and beaches with café, bar restaurant and shop very close by. Great shower!
The location is good, within walking distance of Parga center.
The rooms are cozy and clean.
Ms. Lambrini helped us a lot, even if we booked at the last minute.
The visitors come to stay every year, meaning that they like the location and the hospitality. They also maintain a friendly atmosphere.
The studios share an excellent exterior pool.
Very good value for money.
It was all great, we had very pleasant experience in Spiros Studios. The room was clean, bed super comfortable. The owners are very welcoming people. We found parking above the studios on the main road quite convenient for Parga, as it was only 30 metres away, but far enough from all the crowded streets.
Tommy’s Place was amazing. Location was perfect! 5 minute walk to town. The room was beautiful. Fully remodeled. The views from the room were incredible. Tommy and his son were also extremely helpful since it was my first time in Parga. I don’t think I would stay anywhere else. I absolutely loved it.
The hotel is situated right in the middle of Parga. The breakfast is good and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious in traditional Greek style. The taxi rank is over the road and there is car parking should you need it.
Fab location close to Parga town centre. Room was cleaned every day. Comfortable bed and facilities to do basic cooking meant we made breakfast ourselves and ate out the rest of the day although you could have cooked something more.
Wonderful welcome from our friendly host. In a fantastic location with gorgeous views out over Parga with the town , two beaches and lovely tavernas in easy access. The apartment was very well set up and comfortable.
Very good for a small hotel. They have a courtesy bus to town but if you are a walker it is 10 minutes to start of town. Downhill going in but uphill on way home.
The apartment has a good location and is very close to the Valtos Beach (about 3-5 min away) but it is a little further from the city center (old town)
