Dear Julia, thank you for everything, it was wonderful, but short. I'm sorry that language was a barrier, but I promise that next year I will learn at least a little Greek.

Bit of a bizzare place, I can see it was great at its peak (years ago) but it's not quite as good now. Lots of empty buildings etc. The beach where the hot springs are is busy and dirty; not looked after at all. The people in the NTO hot baths are jobs-worths and overly particular with unnecessary rules. It could all just be a bit better and they could make a lot more of the hot springs.
However, there are some gems of places- lovely bars and restaurants with great people running them.
There should be a fast people ferry from the mainland a few times a day to boost tourism and income. Someone should invest in the place.
It's quite a drive to get there and I wouldn't recommend the place or the drive to people (however if you are there, check out Limne just down the coast before you leave the area, it's entirely different!!)

The hot springs are amazing!
The hot springs are amazing! I found it lovely that I could bath in the hot water even in march, in 10 degrees, and it didn't feel cold at all. I would go there before or after the high season, because it is not crowded at all.

The best thing is the water in this place.
The best thing is the water in this place.
I believe that locals are very far from having a proper touristic service.
It looked like they are trying to get as much as they can with out offering any serious service.

Beach has therapeutic waters however very rocky, slippery and hard to walk on. This is particularly dangerous to persons with physical disabilities who are most likely to travel to Edipsos for the therapeutic waters
We were really comfortable in this hotel. The rooms were big, beds comfortable, A/C worked well and it was a cool night even in July. Breakfast was abundant and above all, the staff and manageress were always willing to help and smiling all the time. The hotel is situated over the sea with a view that cannot be better. We rate this hotel as one of the best we have stayed in in Greece and would love to return.
The hosts are amazing, very kind people, friendly, helpful and flexible. The location is less than 10 minutes from the beach hot baths and it looks like it might be calmer than other accomodations in the summer. The room was simple and very clean. There is an elevator in the building. Very cozy small hotel.
Location of the Pagona hotel is perfect, far away from noisess, surrounded with local tavernas and sweets places, market and 5 minutes away from city center. Petros and Pagona are beautiful hotel owners and managers who made our stay to feel like the hotel is ours and like they were our cousins. :)
The location and the staff! The staff were very accommodating and friendly! We only stayed one night and had to leave at 7am to drive to Athens, they made us a packed breakfast to go! How lovely is that!!!
