Vintage style was highliy appreciated. It made us to think we were in novel, in the history. Location was perfect. Staff reminded my visit that i had done 9 years ago :), so staff was perfect. I definitely advice everyone to stay at this hotel, especially for the people who loves nostalgia and vintage style.

The room was much bigger than expected with two balconies and a terrific view of the island of Thassos. The breakfast had so many options that we did not manage during our two-night stays to taste all the different delicacies. Maybe next time! Add on Bonus: The free charging of our EV.

Kavala is a great Aegean port town, not too little, not too big. It offers an amazing value for travelers since it has great bars, cafes and restaurants at a very reasonable price. It has something for everyone, history, culture, shopping, cuisine. There are some luxury places and some cheap (yet very good) places. In the summer also offers easily accessible beaches.

A great city!
A great city! The old town is beautiful and the views of the city are amazing! The center is easily walkable and the shops combine both big chains as well as small local shops, so everyone can find what they are looking for. There are a myriad of options for coffee or food. We had the best fish in Kavala!
Lastly, the beaches were by far the best in Northern Greece, with fine sand and crystal clear waters! All in all, it is definitely worth a visit!

Great historic sites, beaches and Greek restaurants with authentic food and local wine options. The city is busy and parking can be an issue but if you are happy to walk and sightsee and immerse yourself in the culture, it is a fantastic spot!

A beautiful city with picturesque town planning.
A beautiful city with picturesque town planning. An interesting piece of history. Variety of shops, delicious food, fresh seafood. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Every Saturday there is a large market in the city with agricultural products of producers from the region.
Parking problems. Not enough parking spaces. There are only three paid parking lots in the central part. One of them is by the port, which is quite far from the city center.
We started and ended our trip to Greece in Sea Breeze and we were so happy to stay a second time. Our host’s motto is ‘Come as a guest & leave as a friend’ is a reality with Makis. He is a wonderful model of Greek hospitality. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable long or short term stay. Nicely decorated and very clean. Plenty of room for a family with kids and a full kitchen to prepare meals. We highly recommend this apartment!
The house is lovely decorated and has a nice yard where you can chill. It's not in direct sunlight so it doesn't get too hot. It's in a quiet area, there's a lidl supermarket across the street. Everything was spotlessly clean. It's a great location for visiting by car nearby beaches, Kavala old center and kavala waterfall. The host is very kind and helpful, she provided great recomandations for places to visit in the area.
Remains of the lost world. There is not many hotels of this kind left in Greece, they are getting replaced with generic modern building that are the same everywhere. If you want to feel like Lord Byron in Greece, stay here. Kyria Athina will tell you many stories about the history of this place, Kavala and the region. The hotel belongs to her family since 1930's. If you can afford, take a big room overlooking the harbour.
Irini and Simos are the best hosts. We really had a great time in their apartment. They were very kind, hospitable, generous and they helped us with lots of things. They always asked us if we needed anything. After the big storm they helped us with tidying up and also with our car. We really had everything we needed
We can't complain about anything in Greece
They made us feel like the members of the family
Location was great, just a block up from the waterfront. The host was very accommodating. When he learned that the shower was too small for my big size, he moved us to another room that worked fine. As a boutique hotel, they provided some nice snacks for free -- dried toast snacks, jams, coffee, tea and condiments, free waters. Pleasant stay in Kavala.
The hotel is right at the entrance to the city of Kavala, sitting high on a hill with an amazing view of the city. Booking a room with city/sea view is highly recommended. The rooftop bar/restaurant is worth visiting at least once during your stay (best city views). The hotel has a spa/pool/fitness center but there is an extra fee to access.
Very good breakfast and the terrace where you can eat has the most amazing view overlooking the sea! Gives you a great start of the day!
Clean rooms and very polite staff!
Parking placea available in the hotel area.
Supermarket next to the hotel.
10 min drive from Kavala city center/ 10 min drive from Iraklitsa beach which is amazing!
Location was the center of the Kavala!(Kavala Marina) You are staying in a yacht with a exceptionally helpful host (Max). Rooms were clean but of course a little bit narrower than a hotel room but this is something normal because you stay in Yacht. Breakfast was really good and I like the main living room in the yacht best.
The location of the hotel is simply amazing. You are able to see the whole Kavala port and the old city. The breakfast gets server on the 7th floor of the hotel with a magnificent 360-degree view of the city. We also had a free room upgrade, which made the whole experience way better than we initially planned.
Location and accessibility to the beaches outside Kavala. The city itself is a mess for tourists, but the premises are not bad at all. Carefully, practically and patiently organized and clean premises. Quite neighbourhood where one can easily feel as part of the local community. Right choice for the price.
The Anthemion Team were fantastic! We had problems with the car whilst travelling to Greece, which meant we had to change booking times. They were very accommodating and supportive. Perfect communication with them in English. Room was fantastic as well. Would definitely stay again.
It really exceeded my expectations. Maria was so kind, friendly and helpful. The service was impeccable.
Perfect location, wonderful breakfast and great attention to detail.
We loved out stay in this boutique hotel right in the center of Kavala.
Small renovated apartment in the concrete block - one of million in Kavala. Close to the city center, even limited sea view. Very steep streets - free on-street parking, but limited places and some driving skills needed. Better forget with big car.
it was very clean and ready to stay. before we arrived greece the householder contact us and gave all the information detailed. we smoothly checked in. she even left a bottle of drink for us. that was very kind of her.
The house was clean, comfortable, and situated in one of the best parts of Kavala with an exceptional view. Our host was friendly, informative, and answered all of our questions promptly. We would highly recommend!!!
Clean room, very comfortable bed, perfect location - right in the heart of beautiful Kavala. Up to 5 minutes walk, there is a parking where you can leave your car for 8 euro / 24 hours (as a guest of the hotel).
The breakfast was at the best view of the hotel and the variety was quite good. The heating system in the room was tricky to handle. All the experience was very good and the staff were very friendly and polite
I liked the location - it is next to the sea and very close to the old town of Kavala. The apartment was clean and quiet and has all the necessary utilities. The host was responsive and very helpful.
Smart TV, free Wifi, free parking. Coffee and quick breakfast supplies. Decent price. The building and the hosts were nice. Great hospitality as always in Greece.
