Clean, spacious and beautifully situated above the picturesque village of Batsi. The proprety is everything we could wish for after a day on the hiking trails. Bathrooms had been recently refurbished and the balcony views were amazing. Christoff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that we only stayed one night before continuing on our Andros tour. We will be back.

Batsi is a very pretty town with a clean, beautiful beach.
Batsi is a very pretty town with a clean, beautiful beach. We visited in early - mid October and it was pleasantly quiet however, this also means half the restaurants and shops are closed. For this time of year it seemed to be the best town on the island in terms of facilities

Batsi is a delightful small village with its own sheltered harbour. It is quiet through the day, most activity related to the beach. The village comes alive in the evening around the harbour, where there is a host of tavernas and restaurants spilling out onto the street and harbourside.
Batsi is a great base for walking with many well marked and maintained paths.
Public transport isn't great, so if you want to venture further afield, a form of transport is pretty much a necessity. Batsi is about 5 miles from Gavriou where the ferry docks, a taxi from there into Batsi is 15euro (sep 23 prices).

Batsi is a very nice destination for couples and families.
Batsi is a very nice destination for couples and families. There are a lot of beaches, restaurants, and bars for every taste. It's everything very close that you don't even need a car. And if you want to visit another village or a further beach, there are options as taxi or buses. There are not a lot of activities during the day except the beach, but in the evening and nights is the only go to destination for the island.

Extended my stay twice, was planning on bouncing around to other islands but decided Andros was where I wanted to be. Not swamped by tourists, all beaches felt almost private, priced well, easy to walk around. Scooter and car rentals both available, if you want to go around the island i recommend renting because public transport is mainly for ferry service, limited.

Batsi it's the perfect point where to stay in Andros if you have a car and want to visit all the Island. Andros is big and Batsi it's in the middle of the island to cover every distance.
I find also that the Port here is really nice and you can find really everything: bars, modern or typical Greek restaurant, shops and a really nice walk on the see.
Andros is not the typical cycladic island and i don't write that in a bad way. This island has a strong identity. We liked it a lot. After many years around Greece I can say that Andros is worthy at least one week of stay.
There is a lot of to visit, also in Chora (wonderful), with amazing panoramas and museums.
If you are asking to yourself "why Batsi and not Chora" the answer is only inside of you! We loved both.
Chora is more distant, if you have children maybe you wont to travel less with the car to reach the beaches, that's the big difference for me.
Now let me suggest our favorite restaurant in Batsi: Mise Me Li, hided in a small alley but it's worthy to find it. Yes, it's not with see view, but you spend all day to the beach and believe me this is a place where you want to eat. Tradition meet the fantasy of young owners that want to make the difference and they do it. Absolutely to try.
Another couple of really good restaurants: Cavo D'oro and Kantouni.
Hotel/Studio or whatever you prefer: Batsi is vibrant, if you prefer the quiet choose a place south of Batsi, on the way out after loukouBomb (great loukoumades) or in the back of the town.
Restaurants and bar in the evening can be a bit noise till late, but nothing to be too much concerned about.
About the car, if you plan holidays here book in advance your car because on Andros there are only 3 or 4 car rentals and they are always fully booked almost.
Have nice holidays!
The hotel is situated a short drive from Batsi just up the hill with a great view of the little town. Anna, who runs the hotel, was very hospitable - she helped us set up a rental car from the port and also gave us many recommendations on what to do and eat on Andros! When our ferry got delayed due to wind she even helped us get our tickets for the later sailing and let us have a late check out. Itwas an awesome stay in Andros and I would highly recommend staying here with Anna ☺️
I really enjoyed my stay at Blue Dolphin. Christos is a very friendly and hospitable owner and made me feel right at home. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the centre of Batsi but away from all the noises. The view of the town from the hotel is stunning. There is also a really nice beach just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The room is nicely decorared and the bed is really comfortable.
The location was steps from the beach and central to everything in Batsi. The hotel and rooms were modern and clean. The staff (especially Maria and Maria and Nikos were so helpful, going out of their way to ensure everything was perfect.) The pool was so nice too. If, like us, you want a great hotel with both a pool and a beach, this is the place for you!
The location is great and the view’s spectacular! Also the beach of the hotel is amazing, Sandy and very clean! The stuff is extremely friendly and also guided us on how to do paddle board-for free too-! The breakfast was great, lovely selection and they were making us iced coffee too. The shampoos and conditioners they provided were very good quality.
The hotel is a wonderful experience with beautiful contempory architecture inspired by the ancient buildings of the island. The staff is very friendly. For people with some hiking expierience, the lovely village of Batsi is easy accesible by foot. The privacy of the rooms is incredible with a great view on the sea and the village.
The property was clean and very practical with lots of storage space and shelves. The beds were really comfortable. The host was very nice, helpful and easy to deal with. The location was great. We could walk down to the beach for an early morning swim before anyone else got there. Batsi was a short walk away too.
Very nice hotel with an amazing view on Batsi. As it is mention on previous reviews, the hotel is quite oldish, but it is very clean, the staff is very kind and helpfull, and the view form the balcony is just stunning! It compensate definitely the old style of the hotel. The breakfast is also very good.
Our stay at Eolia Luxury Suites in Batsi, Andros, was truly special. Magda, the owner, welcomed us with genuine warmth, and the suite was impeccably clean and beautifully designed. With a view that offered breathtaking sunsets, this unique Andros retreat will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Efficient budget studio, really good for a solo traveler looking to save money on a longer stay. The hotel is located above the main town area, but fairly close to the larger supermarket in the town which is great. The kitchenette was pretty decent, and the staff were really welcoming and helpful.
This is a fantastic hotel with atmosphere of home. The location is perfect, the first thing which one sees waikng up is a beautiful sea. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Nicholas was very helpful, gave excellent recommendations, and made our vacation
very pleasant and unforgettable.
I loved the location, just outside Batsi (walking distance - lots of steps though), quiet but also in the center of things. Parking was a great plus and Stamatis, our host did a great job: gave us just the right directions, tips and more. We didn't stay long but would gladly go back
Really welcoming friendly and helpful. Villa Pitsa is easy to find and perfectly located overlooking the sea.
It is quiet and peaceful and only 2 minutes walk away from Batsi village which has excellent restaurants, and a lovely harbour.
Everything :) First we were warmly greeted by the lovely host and then followed the rest- cozy room, great breakfast. Batsi is a nice town and a great location from where to hike, as Andros has a really good marked hiking paths.
We had a great time. The location is perfect. If you are looking for a quiet, clean place less than 10min from Batsi, then stop looking further.
The view is stunning and the hosts are very kind and helpful!
The room is amazing and the owners are very welcoming. The room was so clean. The decorations are so beautiful. The breakfast is delicious, are in the room. The people at this hotel are amazing and so sweet.
Great location in traditional Greek rooms, close to the town and sea front of Batsi, and the beds were the most comfortable out of all my Greek Islands trip. We had the sea view room.
The room, view and overall setting of the hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Maria and her staff took excellent care of us and even helped us with our laundry needs.
It was so nice and the people were amazing they would help us when ever we needed help. We would definitely come back one of the best hotels I have ever been too.
