The restaurant at Merrill House has an amazing chef.
The restaurant at Merrill House has an amazing chef. We had an outstanding dinner and breakfast. Food was like music in my mouth. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The Inn is a beautiful old mansion with cool modern art. Pictor has a lot to offer and so close to many attractions. Would recommend lake on the mountain, sandbanks and waupoos winery.

To be honest, there were not much restaurant so, the price is a bit higher and difficult to find the place during the pick time.
There is one steak restaurant recommended by hotel, I had horrible experience.
The price is very high comparing the portion of the food and unfriendly staffs. (I prefer the KEG)
For the next time, I don't want to make the hotel reservation in Picton. I would suggest to go to Kingston instead.

It's a nice place. Nice and clean.
It's a nice place. Nice and clean. It's an old house, so the floors squeak. Not a big deal. It is a self check in and check out. I know there were "owners" there, we saw them when we arrived, but that was it. The phone left as contact did not answer. Emails about early check in were not replied. We checked in about 2 ours early and it was fine. Simple room (yellow rrom - twin bed and private bathroom) but they didn't mention the bathroom was in the hall, not in the room.

We enjoyed Picton. Recommend Royal Hotel for a great meal!
We enjoyed Picton. Recommend Royal Hotel for a great meal! Our lodging was far less than we expected and what we paid for, however. Electrical and fire hazards were among our concerns. There should be a way for our concerns (as explained in more detail in n the review of the Stone Carriage House - Barouche Suite) to be registered so that others who come after us don’t experience the same problems.

Such a cute town with many boutiques and restaurants!
Such a cute town with many boutiques and restaurants! Houses are beautiful to look at, walk around and take photos! Cute park nearby to picnic or sit and watch boats! Town is near by foot or car. Would go back!
Great restaurants like the Spanish one and yummy ice cream at Slickers!
Merrill House is old and unique and we love that. Our room on the third floor was comfortable and the shower was fantastic! The breakfast was outstanding and so were all the staff. Housekeeping helped us figure out the espresso machine and were very accommodating in providing extra face cloths! Jessica, Tina, Jocelyn and Sean were always ready to answer our questions about the area. The wait staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive. We would recommend this as a destination! First class establishment!!!
Staying at The Cape was wonderful! From the very moment my wife and I stepped in, we were immediately taken aback by how special we felt, being recieved with such warm reception. Jake especially made it easier for us to make good decisions on where to go for dining and entertainment - really giving us a great Picton experience! The breakfast was also incredible with fresh locally sourced ingredients.
The Waring House is an amazing property and B&B. We throughly enjoyed our stay and took advantage of the rail trail on the edge of the property and enjoyed a beer in the pub to quench our thirst. Pub menu and nightly entertainment topped off our evenings. We toured the vineyards, wine tastings and stores that were close by.
Beautiful ancestral stone house.
Right next to downtown Picton, walking distance from restaurants, cute shops, bars, supermarket, etc.
15 min by car from the beach at the Sandbanks Provincial Park.
The owner provided a free day pass and gave valuable advise about reservations, and was always present for anything we needed.
Exceptional location 3 km from the Sandbanks Provincial Park. This BnB is a peaceful country retreat. The host is really friendly and warm and has great pieces of advice about visiting PEC. Bonus, the estate even has a forest for a little hike, some sheeps and hens, and a growing orchard. And yeah, breakfast is delicious!
The Hotel is very unique: very old fashioned and is very clean and good maintain at the same time: huge territory, fantastic garden.
Our room was very clean, the breakfast absolutely good and tasty, service is very good. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open on Tuesday, but the breakfast was amazing.
Well located near restaurants and shopping. Easy to get around. It was lovely to wonderful to have a full kitchen for breakfasts and we especially liked sitting in the garden. The home was charming and comfortable. It far surpassed any hotel room or B & B. Towels were plentiful.
Lovely old restored house. Very friendly and informative reception. Aura told us about the beautiful walking trails just across the road which we loved. Also good information about the eateries. Vouchers for breakfast is an excellent idea.
JD made us feel very comfortable. He was a great host and gave us space to relax. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. If you’re looking for a laid back place to stay in Picton, this is the spot!
The private beach is beautiful. Housekeeping was good. The location has potential. The beds are comfy. It’s good if you are planning to stay for a short period of time and not spend your days at the resort.
The property was located right in central Picton and was close to all of the little shops and some restaurants. The room itself was beautiful and was clearly newly renovated.
if you are lucky enough to stay at this property, you will have a fantastic time. The hosts are incredibly friendly and the accommodation is 5 star. We will be back.
Location. Proximity to Sandbanks. Outdoor patio very nice. Deck a little shaky though when people walk on it. Service was great. Fish tacos exceptional.
the area is beautiful and close to the quaint downtown shops. it was spotless, the ac made it the perfect temperature, and it was cosy and comfortable.
