The spa
The spa The fact we traveled from Ireland for new years celebrations and the hotel closed all facilities on new years at 8pm and did not reopen until we had left. This meant we were left trying to find a supermarket or restaurant in the area to get some food. An utter disgrace.

We ended up in na dolina after our car broke down. When our reservation for another hotel the day after was cancelled early evening, the owner of na dolina managed to find us a room in her hotel for the two following nights despite the hotel being fully booked (not fully sure how that worked:)). The two girls working at the hotel were incredibly helpful and nice, making this an unexpected nice stop on our trip.

Parking was free in a secured location. The staff spoke good English, were very friendly and helpful. The room had a beautiful view of the forest and the tennis court. Nothing was missing from the room facilities. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. We want to come back.

Wonderful job, converting the original building into a luxury place that could serve as an example of how a modern hotel should look like. Outstanding value for money, nice quiet location, easy parking, beautiful wellness area, super-friendly and helpful staff and every inch of the property crystal clean.

Absolutely no light pollution at night so the view of the night sky from the balcony is fantastic. The bathroom had nice toiletries. A nice breakfast selection was very good. It was an easy walk into the town square and the museum. There are hiking trails behind the hotel.
