Feels a bit like undiscovered St Tropez.

Feels a bit like undiscovered St Tropez. Beautiful, striking views, nature, bird watching. Unfortunately, the way they cooked fish at most places was not up to par for us. That's pretty much our only complaint though. And the water in April was just a tad cold for swimming. Others were swimming though.

    Oualidia is a small town.

Oualidia is a small town. Perfect to get away from the busy life in the big city. Both the lagoon as the beach are beautiful spots. On the beach you can eat delicious seafood. Yes, you read it correctly: on the beach! The lagoon is also a perfect spot to surf, SUP or try kitesurfing. If you are here on a Saturday, definitly have a look at the market. This market is big and you can buy fruits, veggies, clothes, furniture and so much more! I had an amazing time in Oualidia and I wished I stayed longer (even I stayed there 5 nights).

Oualidia is beautiful, very quiet and very relaxing around...

Oualidia is beautiful, very quiet and very relaxing around the lagoon. The beach had facilities to hire chairs and parasols should you require them. The only regret we had is that we didn't spend enough time in Oualidia, we spent one night, but then again, we will have to visit again for a little longer next time.

If you are the turist from europe, nothing to do in Oualidia...

If you are the turist from europe, nothing to do in Oualidia as local people and turists looking at you non stop. You can't take a normal swim in laguna as full of local people and you have to search wild bitch where is next to ocean only possible, so no point to go there.

Oualidia is a lovely quiet seaside town.

Oualidia is a lovely quiet seaside town. It is down to earth and in many ways still developing. It has a relaxed vibe with few 'husslers' compared to Marrakech, eg. Hotel L'Initiale is one place to get wine with really good food! Most other places are dry..! (And there is literally nowhere to buy alcohol in the town - apparently a supermarket is opening summer 2019) The lagoon is really beautiful and quiet compared to the amazing open coast line with huge waves pounding against a beautiful rugged rocky coast. Well worth a short visit, or longer if you want to explore Safi and other day trips. Oualidia is completely walkable, though a little hilly.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and the complete hotel is decorated with eye for detail and art. The view from the pool area and the room is breathtaking. Breakfast is of very high quality and Samira is a wonderful hostess and an interesting personally to talk with. The villa has a wonderful family story where a dream and vision come to life by passion and hard work. The beach is nearby with a 5 minute car drive. We booked an additional day and enjoyed it fully, it was the best hotel of 7 we visited during a road trip.

The hotel is right on the beach and has magnificent views from the terrace. The highlight is the gardens which are absolutely beautiful and lovingly cared for by the gardener. There is also a super clean pool where you can relax in lounge chairs around it. The rooms are clean and cute with comfortable beds and modern bathroom fixtures. You can take a sightseeing boat trip right from the hotel or walk into town/around the point. We enjoyed relaxing here!

This simple and nice place is hard to find, as there are no signs on the main road that indicate which gravel road to take to the hotel. Once there one is surprised by the nearness of the lagoon (20m) in which oysters are farmed. 100 m further one can dip in and swim. Part of the hotel is the seafood resaurant serving the locally caught oysters, fish and crabs.

Wonderfully quirky hotel with the best view in Oualidia, and easy access to the lagune. The breakfast was outstanding. "Best breakfast of the holiday" according my better half. We also ended up eating dinner in both nights, due to the covid curfew. Great home-cooked food, and we know home-cooked Moroccan food. Very accommodating of our vegetarian teenager.

the view from the terrace is gorgeous. the house is located in a quiet and peaceful area of Oualidia, close to everything you might need. a walk of 10 minutes maximum will get you to wherever you need: grocery stores, pharmacists, taxi station, beach, restaurants.. the hosts are very helpful and sweet. hoping i’ll get to come back soon for a longer stay.

The room with a view!!! Beautiful view of the pool, lagoon and sea… Clean, comfy stylish hotel - Art deco meets cruise ship. We liked the slightly out of town location and walk to local restaurants. Safe on site parking, great staff, lovely feel to the place.

The host was very helpful. Upon arrival we were told where we could go to eat, things to do in the evening. Showed us a nice place on the beach and a boat you can take to cross to the other side. Very fun experience

Very beautiful location, friendly staff, but I had an intoxication after dinner at the hotel restaurant, so I recommend this hotel, but be careful with seafood, especially lobsters.
