It's beautiful village, surrounding by mountains. We didnt realize that the village has old and important histories for the surrounding. It has an oldest university and very beautiful in Basque Country.

On the town itself, I did not find all that much to see.
On the town itself, I did not find all that much to see. Besides the old university building and the town square, I found some old facades on the streets off the main square.
The surroundings are the reason I will be back - the hills and the wooded areas are really nice.
We loved our stopover here. Well refurbished hotel with lovely garden seating, comfortable, quiet rooms, helpful staff and a restaurant which serves
home cooked food at reasonable prices. Wonderful peaceful location in the hills but close to the Burgos motorway. Dog friendly, we are traveling with two medium sized dogs and it wasn't a problem. We drive to Portugal every summer and will definitely be stopping over at Soraluze from now on. Gracias!
We totally loved our stay at Goiko-Benta!
The family that runs the hotel is very friendly and welcoming.
The rooms were very pretty, clean, cosy and quiet.
Also did we enjoy the tiny village, because we love to hike and there are a lot of possibilities for this!
For dinner, we stayed at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was so tasty! Next to that are there a lot of options for people who have a gluten intolerance like me :-)
Small hotel in a pretty old building. The building has a pleasant atmosphere and has been beautifully redecorated as a hotel. The rooms are large but cosy and rooms and bathrooms are exceptionally clean. The hotel has a restaurant where we had dinner which we can totally recommend. Breakfast was ok but not exceptional in choice.
Lovely restored tower in a nice setting, beautiful view from bedroom window, nice decor, comfortable bed. Good car park at the top of the narrow winding road leading to the hotel - fortunately there is a traffic light system. Quiet location, yet only a 5 minute walk from the old town of Onati. Good value for money.
A really great hotel in a great location. We arrived late because of traffic delays, but we were able to get a light meal in the cafeteria. Room large and very comfortable. Breakfast good. Location spectacular.
It is located in a beautiful town , good location, very clean and big room, the staff is very nice , breakfast was super tasty
We easily found a parking not far from the hotel
Very nice hotel, great design and very comfortable. Located in a beautiful area, near a lot of trails. The front desk was very helpful and had many maps and suggestions.
Amazing location next to the monastery with lovely views. Felt very welcomed into this family run hotel, and the dinner every night was delicious and really good value.
The beds were excellent, the coffee was great and free, it was a beautiful location.. and the hotel felt special. The man at the reception was very nice and helpful.
