It was clean and fine for us in the end because we were only passing through for one night and had plans in the local area. While the facilities of the 2 start hotel and the beds seemed old, I did have a great night sleep.

Our room looked out to the cathedral tower which was lovely, as it was my birthday/anniversary week. Left us a bottle of sparkling wine but unfortunately we did not drink it. Chocolates were also left. Nice comfortable room, the bathroom had a bidet, tissues and slippers were provided as too were coffee. Very good location for shopping, cafes and restaurants. I liked the fact that the hotel provided a carton of mineral water every day in the room, also, the room key was recycled wood. Attention to detail and very helpful front desk staff.
