I would like to share my experience at Hacienda Cocuyo, which was truly amazing. The peaceful and serene ambiance, combined with the breathtaking natural surroundings, made it an unforgettable stay. The rooms were fantastic and comfortable, and the fresh mountain air and sea breeze were invigorating. The restaurant had a varied menu, offering both local and international basic dishes, although if you are looking for extensive local cuisine and more variety, it's just a 10-minute drive away.
The locally-made breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start the day, while evenings spent by the campfire near the pool with a cocktail, wine, or local beer were magical. The staff at Hacienda were incredibly service-minded and helpful, making the whole experience even more special.
I also appreciated the ECO-friendly approach of the place, with no lifts, no TV or AC in the room, pure back to basics and one with nature! Overall, I would highly recommend Hacienda Cocuyo to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and memorable vacation.

A truly magical place! The service was beyond our expectations, the staff very warm and joyful, always available and attentive to our needs. We were served delicious homemade food, which you can tell is made with lots of love, and most of which comes fresh from their permaculture site (conuco). The place itself is breathtaking, with lush vegetation, full of magic and truly soothing. The cabins are clean, comfortable and spacious, and it's so peaceful at night, I sleep like a baby! Bonus: a mango tree right in front of our cabin - what else can you ask for? There are a few pools and gazebos to enjoy a bit of privacy. And it's a 10-minute ride from Playa Rincón and Caño Frío, which I really enjoyed.
Overall, it's the perfect place to relax, reconnect with yourself and nature, recharge your batteries. Let yourself be taken care of, you won't regret it! It's my third time there and will definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Johanna is the most accommodating, helpful, nice, respectful owner. She will help you to get everything you need. Johanna, her beautiful daughter Victoria and her staff provide a wonderful daily breakfast. They keep the grounds, the pool and the rooms clean We very much enjoyed our stay. You are one block from the maim street with lots of restaurants and bars and mini marts. The beach is one block down too.
