I had a great experience at the Old Mill Inn. The staff and owners were accommodating, friendly and kind. The breakfast was everything you want, you need and more. The room was cozy, warm and fully of natural light. The Inn is surrounded by green and close to a lovely stream. Whether you go by car or public transportation, it is a great place to explore the area.

I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and has everything that one would need for a fantastic holiday in Findhorn. Pub, Bakehouse, Hotel, Cafe and beaches all within walking distance. Parked my car for the duration of the stay. Didn’t need it. The cottage is finished to a high standard and beautifully furnished.

Our stay in Forres was good. We were most impressed with the Mosset Tavern and the chippy next door. We were visiting relatives so did'nt do much site seeing, but visited Logie Steading Gallery and most impressed

Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray Firth coast. There are still independent shops and beautiful well-kept green park areas. It has a Victorian heritage.
There are a number of pubs with nice areas to sit out in.
Forres is also well-connected for road, rail and air links. It forms a good base for exploring or for business visits.

Beautiful town of old buildings along the High Street.
Beautiful town of old buildings along the High Street.
Grant Park was lovely. Huge area of lovely flower beds and play park for children.
For lovers of archaeology the Huge Suennos Stone is situated in the town.
We had to book a hotel very last minute as there was a problem with our other property so wasn’t expecting too much when I just searched for the cheapest place with availability but it was lovely. Staff very welcoming considering we turned up as they were closing. We got a family suite and it was great, the beds were very comfortable. Also, it is actually two rooms so the adults do not have to sit in the dark once the kids are in bed, brilliant!
The location is unbeatable: right at the center of downtown Forres, with Food-CoOp and Boots Pharmacy across the street, beautiful parks and churches nearby. The room is clean, the duvet and towels are sparkling white. The shower is shared only by two rooms, making it a great money saving option. The staff was super helpful. I wasn't sure if I could drop off the luggage but they accepted it without any issue, which was a big relief for me.
Delicious and made to order breakfast and options for food if you don't want to get out. For breakfast, you get your menu options the night before to build your own breakfast in addition to yogurt, bread, and a pastry. Delicious and good selection. The room was charming with a comfortable and a nice electric fireplace to add comfort and ambiance. The woman working was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. I instantly felt at home.
Everything. Could not fault the location, the apartment, the facilities or the host. Everything was fabulous. I travelled alone to visit my son how lives in Forres. It was a great location and was easy walking distance to all amenities. The location was lovely and peaceful. I will definitely be back whenever I come to visit again and will be recommending the apartments and Carlo to family and friends wishing to visit,.
The hotel was in a perfect location for the purpose of our visit. The room was warm, clean and had very nice biscuits to eat with our cup of tea/coffee.
This hotel is old and the rooms a little dated, however, it this was reflected in the price we paid so not an issue.
The breakfast was continental and adequate, but we were offered a cooked breakfast at extra cost is we wanted it.
Fantastic location right in the heart of Forres Town. Immaculately presented apartment with all the equipment you could possibly require for a self-catering break - although there are plenty of other options for eating out, if desired. Free car parking a very short distance from the property. Within reach of many attractions. We loved it!
Our short stay at Cluny Bank Hotel was wonderful, we got warm welcomed in a very charmous old house. The morning breakfast, served in another very cosy room of the house, was delicious.
In this short stay we felt the sympathy and pleasure to welcome from the owner lady.
Definitely I recommend.
Thank for the stay!
Breakfast was good. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The hotel and room was nice and cosy The centre of Forres was a 15 minute walk to find plenty places to eat and some shops. Would certainly stay again as we have relatives up in the area. I'd recommend Macbeths butchers at Tolbooth Wynd.
I loved the decoration of the room, the location of the hotel, and the dinner at the restaurant was just amazing - really top class! The owners are the friendliest people, and Iona (one of their adorable dogs) is always ready to be petted! :-)
Gorgeous old building with lots of character. Most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in! Dinner was absolutely incredible as were the cocktails, and breakfast was just lovely!
The property is a large 3 bedroom flat in the heart of Forres town centre so is close to all restaurants & bars and only a three minute drive to the golf course.
Firlands cabin is a little slice of heaven in Forres. it was peaceful, quiet, clean and just steps away from beautiful nature walks and the center of Forres.
