Ähus is close to Kristianstad so it makes sense to spend some time there as well and checkout the laidback city. Åhus is a sleepy little town and its worth visiting the Absolut vodka museam and factory.

Very nice looking hotel, I think they renovated it very recently. A big parking is available. We had a room on the ground floor, which looked brand new. The hallway to get there was rather uncosy and not entirely finished though. The breakfast was great. Plenty of options. We also went to the wellness (which we had to book extra), which is very nice/big.

I booked single bed room and surprised that the room was quite big compared past experiences booking a single bed hotel room which usually so limited in space. Bed was comfy..adjustable sleeping method! Hairdryer, bathroom clean, big table, drawer.. tea and coffee available in breakfast area. And clean accomodation.
