On checking in- and a comment for all gated accommodation in Malaysia on Booking.com- we need to ask ourselves a fundamental question: who are we gate-keeping? Who are we keeping in safe-and from whom? Who are we attempting to keep out-and why, given the relative safety and security of Malaysia- a notable feature of the country? These questions need answering before visitors feel completely comfortable with what seems overly complicated check in/out processes

Bayan Lepas is in the middle of Penang. It is nearby Georgetown and also Balik Pulau. Though it was not near the beach, you still can go to nearby beach during day time and spend your night in hotels around Bayan Lepas. You can save on your accommodation and enjoy shopping.

There is water dispenser available for both hot and cold water but not functioning. Need to ask for a kettle. otherwise meet my purpose of travelling. Parking quite limited and small area.

The room is very comfort and now the TV is a smart tv & you can view netflix (using your own account la) and youtube :) The best thing is the room already provided with iron & iron board. So you don't have to walk out and ironing your clothes at the end of the hotel rooms :)
