Manta rota beach is amazing really a place to chill now in...
Manta rota beach is amazing really a place to chill now in October, I most probably wouldn’t want to come here in summer as it looks a very busy place all surrounded by hotels and touristic bungalows…but out of season is superb. We ate once in one of the restaurants in the road the Roast Chicken or Frango like they say and it was amazing, we also went for lunch to Villa Real do Santo Antonio and took the boat for a return lunch trip to Spain (it only takes 15/20minutes)over crossing the Guadiana river. We also went for a beach day and promenade walk to Monte Gordo. To end up the trip we visited the medieval town of Castro Marin and had breakfast there in a very nice supermarket called Pingo (very very local) which makes amazing natural juices…happy times.

A quiet village resort, but with a choice of plenty of restaurants. A good walk to the beach and to a bus and train in order to visit other areas like Tavira or V.N. San Antonio. Not a problem for these guests but good to know about before you go.

It's a very quiet place and the beaches are awesome.
It's a very quiet place and the beaches are awesome. You have everything you need in a short distance from the beach (restaurants, bar/coffee shop, pharmacy, supermarket, etc.). It's really a great destiny for a quiet holyday at the beach.

Nice quiet location with easy access to beach through the dunes. Nice easy boardwalks along the beach to other areas too. 2 pools on site , 1 for hotel and 1 for apartments although you can use either. Hotel in a quiet location which we liked as we had a car to visit other locations. Has 1 on site restaurant and a couple of snack bars within walking distance .

Helpful owner, had a nice chat with him about the area. Our room was very basic, very small and the air conditioner wasn’t very efficient, but all the other rooms were occupied so we couldn’t get a better room. Breakfast was good, we particularly enjoyed the coconut orange cake, it was delicious.

We visited in March so many of the facilities in the hotel and town were closed, still plenty to do and places to eat for a short stay.
