you need a car. The restaurant is expensive. The rooms can get cold but it was November and there are heaters. The surrounding area is lovely. Its 10 minutes away from the nearest village and 20 minutes from Enschede and other towns. The whole area is quieter than the west side of The Netherlands

Comfortable room with all necessary facilities and direct access to nature. Spacious and warm bathroom. Extremely comfy beds. And drinking your morning coffee whilst listening to the birds' songs and breathing clean forest air - priceless. Outstanding restaurant - I had my best cheeseburger ever. Especially if you combine it with a Grolsch Weizen!

There are plenty of bike and hiking routes nearby, and the full region of Twente is worth discovering. Enschede also has its charm. Included with the room was the access to the swimming pool and the spa area (sauna, Turkish bath, cold pool), which is really nice after a long day hiking outdoors.JorgeNetherlands
