We were there for a couple of weeks to get some dental work done, so longer than we would normally stay. The Ghandi museum is interesting, but apart from that there is was not too much of interest, except if the cricket is on! Some good shopping, and easy to get around, as it is a smaller city. It is a good stopover on the way to Gir National park area, but probably 1-2 nights would be sufficient. There is a fabulous non-veg restaurant Hot and More, near the Ghandi museum.

Rajkot has grown exponentially in the last decade and it is quickly catching up with major cities, however, there is still some way to go, for example, there is Uber service but it is not very popular and hence still easier to hail a rickshaw. I am really looking forward to coming back as the people are nice and helpful and amazing vibe.

Good city.
Good city. But airport is small and needs a proper taxi service. Taxi-men exploit the new faces. Unfortunately it is the same story in most of cities. It was raining so they quoted 1500/- INR for 15 km. I tried Uber which showed Rs.350 for same destination. Finally Driver took Rs 600/-
This is certainly not professional and I found it unsuitable for Mr Clean's own state. Authorities should have a pre-paid taxi from airport and 100% transparency in fair.

Area of Improvement.
Area of Improvement.
Head Strong and inefficient front office staff.
Can do better with selecting experienced staff than novices.
The bath linen needs replacement badly.
Room service has a long way to go,one tea took 3 reminder and 55 minutes.
Breakfast - Innovative in culinary treats should be reasonable.
Whoever heard of a batata paua(local meal) with Capsicum ?
Wada Sambar - quality of wada on both days of my stay was below par.
Valet - Not available after 23.00 strange isn't it - especially in festive season where guests returns tired after a long night out celebration.

We were at SAYAJI Rajkot in the return trip from Somanth and our next station was Vadodara so for night stay I booked SAYAJI Rajkot, and this Accomodation i booked was superbly beautiful, its ambience was lovely and we having lots of options for Breakfast in the morning before check-out... i recommend this property to stay in RAJKOT which is cost effective too...
Amazing hotel - arguably the best I've ever stayed in in any country. The rooms were of high quality and extremely clean, everything worked as expected, the staff were professional and courteous, and the food was fantastic, and the bed was huge and comfortable with pillows that obviated the need to use my orthopaedic travel pillow! Overall, the atmosphere and surroundings just oozed luxury. Moreover, it was very, very reasonably priced. It's the only place I will likely ever stay when coming to Rajkot in future.
We ate daily at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent as was the meals generally. The staff were courteous, helpful yet kept their distance which was the ideal balance. The 2 bedroom suite with abundant living space we had was great. The hotel was located next to Rajkot airport and the views from the roof top were spectacular! There were frequent birthday parties there and wedding functions which were enjoyable to observe. This did not detract from our stay as they were all well managed.
Two child accompanied me 11 yr and 6 yrs which was also mentioned during booking and no extra bed requested. But for my shocked whiles check out they charged 600 @300 for extra bed which we did not availed. As i was geting late for my medical appointment so i paid the amount and move on from the place. I request that booking.com must keep customers from hidden charges for their check out amburashment. If i have been wrongly charged by Hotel Bhakti,Rajkot. I want my Rs 600 back...
Ac remote and telephone wasn’t available
exhaust fan and shower was not working
no hot water. breakfast was included in my booking but I had to pay for it extra because of OYO and hotel misunderstanding. I had to bear the cost. even it was not satisfied stay, OYO says according to their POLICY they can only return me 50% of the amount I paid, (I had 8 days booking and I stayed there for 1 day )
very disappointed with OYO as well as Hotel Rio Rajkot.
Breakfast was ok the only big problem is that i ate some of the food that had sugar the first day and that shot up my sugar levels .
You must either avoid the sugar in the food as most of the guests i believe will be from abroad or from out of Gujarat barring your marriage party crowds . Alternatively you can put up warning sins against such foods that have sugar
I am handling audit department so always changes time to time so i prefer booking in all hotel on check out time but here take advance payment on 17-23 with breakfast.
In 5 days my audit start I unable to take breakfast and change method because advance payment already paid to hotel no any customer favour decision by hotel.
The staff were excellent and the managers Pinky and Ricken were excellent they both are an asset to The Grand Regency they helped.me out with every need i had i would highly recommend the hotel to anyone that goes to Rajkot

The location was a little hard to find but it is a new hotel so this is understandable. The facilities matched what is described, check-in was smooth. Can tell this is a new hotel and needs a little improvement but overall a good stay for the area.
