FAQs about hotels in Knokke-Heist
On average, 3-star hotels in Knokke-Heist cost £130 per night, and 4-star hotels in Knokke-Heist are £202 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Knokke-Heist can on average be found for £332 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Looking back at Knokke-Heist from its long, sandy beach, you could almost think it were a Mediterranean holiday resort. High-rise buildings lining the promenade linking these combined towns house beachfront cafes, shops and a range of hotels and apartments available on Booking.com.
The high-rises may not be the world’s most beautiful structures, but their unparalleled views over the sand dunes to the sea are their real worth. Also right on the beach is historic Knokke Casino, which still maintains a spark of its 1930s heyday.
Offshore conditions are good for watersports and the Royal Zoute Golf Club is another recreation option. Nearby is the Marie Siska tearoom which has produced tasty heart-shaped waffles since the 1880s. The real gem though is the saltwater Zwin Nature Reserve, a bird haven right by the Netherlands border.
The Zwin region’s history is detailed in Heist’s Sincfala Museum, near a characteristic fishermen’s chapel. The large Zeebrugge port is just west and a train station links Heist with Knokke, where the For Freedom Museum remembers the Canadian liberators of this part of Flanders in World War II.
In addition to boutique shops and evening markets, Knokke-Heist has a surprising number of restaurants and art galleries. The available accommodation covers everything from holiday homes to B&Bs with parking.

If you like a mondaine place next to the see, with great nature, walks, beaches, beachclubs nearby this is the place.
Great selection of restaurants, shopping, Golf and watersports.
Knokke has a famous Micro climate and a nature reserve to go for long walks. Dogs are allowed on the beach between Mid October and April.
The rich and the famous come here to see and be seen, so that you need to be in favour of.
Dont expect Knokke to be the same a a remote beach village in Bretagne, but it certainly is worth a visit.

While the beach is nice and the sunsets spectacular, Knokke is filled with apartment complexes and most are simple architectual blocks.
Service and quality in restaurants is poor. Prices for drinks and food are too high compared to the quality, and espeially too high for sch por service.
Other than The Holland Casino, Knokke has litte or no entertainment or live music, and no music is played in most restaurants ro bars. Knokke is one of the most boring beaches I have ever visisted.

Knokke has a nice beach though it is overcrowded with high rise apartments on the beach front. The worst thing about Knokke is the huge amount of building works, renovations all happening at the same time plus all the street and road works. It can be like the Spanish costa del sol in the seventies. Horrible. A pretty ugly town all round. Better to visit Cadzand in Holland.

It is beautiful beach town, close to the lovely old town Brugge. I imagine it is a popular holiday town so could get very busy. Parking is an issue, this seems to be a common issue across Belgium. Understanding the parking laws, etc can be tricky. There is also some amazing paths in a forest area around the town.

Very nice place !
Very nice place !
You can enjoy sea, beaches, shopping in the city and natural reserve at the same time !
If you like nature and calm, I really advise you to rent a bike and to wander in the Natural Park !
You just have to know that the main place and streets can be very crowed in Easter and Summer holidays.

Lovely beach village - a little touristy but a great place to visit, especially if you like cars. The beautiful and expensive cars of Belgium tend to congregate here, especially at the weekend.
Very easy to wander around, shop in the many, small, boutique shops and enjoy the bars and restaurants.
Very nice place, with a spacious sitting area. 2 balconies, one with a nice view on a church. Calm in the night, comfy beds. The kitchen is well equipped. The bus stop is just a few minutes walk away (easy way to get to Bruges and to Knokke-Heist trainstation). There is a bakery around the corner. We didn't miss anything and would come again.
The restaurant is great, which also means tasty breakfast.
Children's playground is mentioned in other reviews, but we did not imagine its extent - almost a lunapark is at children's disposal.
The hotel is conveniently located close to a natural reserve.
Rooms are cleaned very thoroughly.
Renato was very clear with instructions and very prompt in answering our queries. I like Knokke-Heist for its sand dunes and beach. When we visited, it wasn't packed with so many tourists. It wasn't sunny. But that's something you can't control.
This nice hotel saved our weekend (on 30 April Saturday) in Knokke suburb, as we came here as "plan B". We had to book this hotel Saturday afternoon as "the other place" did not accomodate us. The staff in ibis Budet was very kind and helpful.
Hotel is in a lovely location - very quiet near a lovely village square and close to the nearby nature park. Staff are super friendly and professional and breakfast is also great (apart from the shoddy plastic coverings over the table).
I loved the general style of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was of good quality. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely. The free car park was handy. Our dog really enjoyed his stay too.
The location is perfect, breakfast was delicious and there’s a parking space at the hotel, where you can also charge electric cars free of charge, really convenient.
