The kitchen has everything you'd need, and then some (with a notable exception of an absent dishwasher). The apartment is located in the very center of Blankenburg Old Town. The view from the windows is fabulous! Due to the shape of the building you get the windows facing all four directions. There is a supermarket within 5 minutes' walk from the apartment. Slightly further off is a bus stop with numerous connections to nearby towns and villages.

Luckily, the owners were super friendly and kind. They explained everything in a detailed manner. The room was very beautiful and clean. You open the window and you will see the incredibly magnificent castle view. There are many good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended to those who have a car and want to travel in the Harz national park.
