Location is an excellent when you travel with the train. The hotel is also quite close to the historic center. Very polite and helpful staff. Nice breakfast with a good choice of meal.

Nice decor despite only staying the night. Well kept and clean and very comfortable. Shower was amazing and bathroom essentials were of great value. Overall, I would stay here again.

We went for the Wagner-Festspiel, so it's simple: Bayreuth is the only place. It's a little out of the way for air or train travel, so we chose to drive from Berlin. Having a car was convenient, as our apartment was a few Km out of town. Bayreuth is a charming small city in the Bavarian hills and worth seeing, especially if you're into opera.

This hotel is a short walk, about 10 minutes to the Festspielhaus which makes it a very good location. It is also near to many restaurants and the centre of the town. It doesn’t cater for gluten free and vegan options

The baroque opera house is lovely and certainly worth a visit. \The Margrave New Palace and park. Also the Hermitage, on the outskirts of Bayreuth. The Wagner museum is a sort of must, but if possible, check the times of guided tours to the Steingaertner Piano factory. Some of the churches are worth a visit as are the parks.

Bayreuth was a pleasantly relaxing place with plenty to see, both in the city and nature.
There are several nice parks, as well as a lovely botanical garden. I was a bit surprised at the Ermitage, as it stands out significantly from other European palaces.
We found a delightful mexican restautant, Enchilada. We went a few times in our stay.
It was mostly comfortable to ride a bike, though many streets lack bike lanes.

Since I live only 40 miles away, it wasn’t exactly a „Weltreise.“ But it was nice to find a reasonably priced hotel for an overnight. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast excellent. I know where to stay for my next overnight in Bayreuth.

I actually stayed for 4 nights....attended two operas and had a good look round two lovely churches. Elegant city...easy to stroll round...well tended and traffic never a nuisance. Gardens were exceptional....and the local beer was yummy....and fairly priced. Lots of shops including antique type stuff.
I hope to return next year and delve further.
The hotel is an easy walk from the train station. It is also a brief stroll to the Festspielhaus, the centre of town, and restaurants.
The breakfast options were wide enough for my coeliac husband to have a hearty meal every day. The coffee was strong and the nibbles with a wine after the opera were welcome.
We were able to have an iron and ironing board in the room for days so that clothes could be pressed as needed and we borrowed an umbrella when the rain kept falling.
The arrangements made by the hotel, e.g. fantastic breakfast, free coffee/tea with sweets and shuttle bus services to the Festival place, are perfect for the visitors of the Bayreuth Festival. The location is also great, within 20 minutes of walking to the Festival place if one chooses to walk. One small and one large shopping malls, as well as a large bus terminal, with many busses in various directions, are also within walking distance. The room has sufficient storage.
All rooms have kitchen and almost all kitchen utensils you might need. They will take out the trash every day and always check if there is anything I need. Staff was always highly proffesional, helpful and ready to answer all the questions. The position is also excellent, you have a bus station directly at the front of the hotel but at the same time the city center was not so far away for a light walk.
Great location, only minutes walk from town centre. Staff are friendly, helpful and multilingual.
Very good breakfast buffet, plentiful and with a wide range of choices.
Very good restaurant: one of the best in Bayreuth.
Hotel arranges taxi and minibus rides before and after the opera performances and the restaurant remains open for late suppers for guests.
Rooms are compact but beds are comfortable.
This was a convenient location four our stay in Bayreuth. The hotel is 20 min by bus from the centre, the bus station is right next to the hotel. There was a supermarket close by that was handy and also, attached to the hotel building there is a bakery, good for a coffee and snack in the morning. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, there is always a warm welcome when you enter the hotel and at the breakfast. The breakfast is quite nice, with selected products of higher standard (not cheap things). The bathroom in my room was also big and nicely arranged. Everything was very clean.
The hotel is one minute walk from the old town. Festpilhaus 30 minutes walk, taxi 7-8 minutes. The breakfasts are excellent. A bus to the festpilhaus is organized. The hotel is convenient for the festival. The staff at the reception helps in all matters, polite, responsive.
It was my first trip to Germany, so everything was awesome including this hotel. A little bit on the old side, but everything worked great. The mall, restaurants and lots if shop in walking distance. Very friendly staff as well. :)
Heated floor in the bathroom. Little sitting area for reading. Easy walk to area sites. Private parking lot included in room price. Very good restaurant attached to the hotel.
It was clean, quiet, staff was available when needed and was very friendly. the Hotel was in walking distance to the city center. the Lounge downstairs is nice to sit and hang out
Modern high quality rooms, great location and delightful breakfast buffet so very close to Bayreuth’s city center. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent value!
The concept of the hotel is interesting - a modern, island vibe. The staff is friendly and informative. Those travelling by train will love the location, it's right next door.
