We decided to stay somewhere different for our regular trip to Nanango and saw the Cooper Country Motor Inn. We liked the idea that there was a dinning room there, unfortunately it was closed the night we stayed. we understand that the owner had an accident and was unable to work at full capacity. We were also disappointed that the grounds had been neglected a little but also understand that this was probably due to the above.

We loved our far too short stay here, what a gorgeous property, just what we needed after a long drive. We did not need the bell for the cows, as soon as they saw us arrive they waited for their feed! Very sweet.

A few good eateries in town including hotel, cafes, bakery. Royal Hotel many not look enticing but the meals are great and huge. Yarramarnos Cafe does great toasties. The town seems to be a popular destination for bike riders.
