The location was perfect, directly opposite the Inglis River and close to the town centre. A beautiful view to wake up to!
The girl who greeted me on arrival had a friendly and welcoming manner, with nothing seeming to be too much trouble for her.
The bed and pillows were super comfortable.
I've stayed at The Wharf twice before and would happily stay there again. 😃

Place was quiet and clean. Shower was hot. Bed was comfortable. Staff were excellent. Gave us the key to the rooms and allowed us to check in without access to our room when we drove past shortly after our arrival at the airport at 1130 as we were unsure of our returning time late in the evening.

Lovely cottage with old charm feel. Loved the open fireplace. Spa bath was great and bed was high but comfortable. Had a lovely outlook into the gardens and partial ocean views.

Wynyard is located on the Inglis River and is a quiet little spot with plenty to do. Wynyard provides a great base for all sorts of day trips to Table Cape; Boat Harbour; Sisters Beach; Stanley; Burnie; the west coast and inland to various waterfalls i.e. Dip & Guide. Lots of opportunity to walk along the beach, fossil bluff exploration, cycling, fishing and many other activities and great food outlet choices. Locals are very friendly and helpful. Supermarkets close by with all manner of other retail outlets to cover all your needs

A great little town to spend some leisure time in.
A great little town to spend some leisure time in. Op shops, nice eating places., good variey of shops. Scenic drives close by. Scenic location. A lovely boardwalk and seaside walking track is great. A good variety of accomondation available. Ladybug Pizza and Waterfront hotel had good food. The Sunday markets are only on 1st and 3rd weekends so plan your trip around them. If visiting Table Cape, don't bother doing the walk between the light house and Lookout if you are expecting great views. There is vegetation along the walk.. much better just to drive to each location unless you are fit and don't mind walking. A lovely town, beaches nearby. Easy to get around, everything one needs for a holiday; walks on the beaches or by the river; fishing spots, activities on the river. Close to Table Cape, an ideal town to stay to view the tulips in Spring.

Enjoyed the old style village feel to the community. was a pleasure to walk the streets, and soak in the place Had fish and chips from the river front facility, about two mins walk from our accomodation. Excellent food. Had breakfast at the Bolt historic restaurant cafe. delightful and very interesting. Went to visitors centre, very entertaining and men enjoyed the old car exhibition. I am originally from the area and visiting relatives and the "old place" always brings joy. My food requirements are minimal Wynyard is a great little town and serves my early childhood home of Boat Harbour well. Visitors should ensure they visit Boat Harbour while holidaying at Wynyard. Don't miss Table Cape/Fossil Bluff. You wont be disappointed.

We loved the way the owners retained some elements of 60s/70s design, but updated it in the kitchen and bathroom. The owners have clearly put lots of thought into making this comfortable for visitors, including a night light in the hallway. The location was also good, as Wynyard is a lovely town.GaryAustralia
