We went for a walk from Mayfair to town in the evening had a lovely meal at Metropolitan hotel where food and service was excellent , did some shopping around and found few bargain shops. Also the Cheese restaurant was great for a quick lunch, great service. People were very friendly and service was always with a smile 😊.

We like the town of West Wyalong and hope to return again and spend more time there to explore more. Our farm stay at Mascot Cottage was worth the 25 kms drive outside of town. Recommend more than an overnight stay here. The only thing we will avoid next time is driving at night on the mostly dirt road to our farm stay due to the Roos coming out at night.

Everything was close together and easy to find.
Town needs more options for people with food intolerances.
The place we went out for dinner (West Wyalong Services and Citizens Club) could not provide any gluten free options.

Tends to be a one night stop on a road trip.
Tends to be a one night stop on a road trip. Pleased our motel room was on the main road heading out of town. Walk into town was around a kilometre, lit at night. Good to stretch your legs after a day in the car. Chose the pub (The Metropolitan) which had a 5.30 dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish / steak. A few options available for gluten intolerance.

West Wyalong is a great stop over when travelling, being Easter not much was open, but we expected that. Had a nice lunch at the Paragon, excellant dinner at the RSL. There is a range of accomodation, however we picked the room on budget, was disappointed, our choice!

VEry comfortable room with microwave and crockery, cutlery, which suited us to a tee. Room was very comfortable, bed was great. Bathroom was brand new and the shower was great. All very clean.
The bathroom is huge, but not enough counter space or cupboard space. A few more hooks or towel rails would be good.
The table in the room was very dodgy!
But all up, very happy!
Located n the middle of town, it has a beautiful country charm about it. When you arrive you check in at the Paragon Cafe. Rooms are a nice size with beautiful linen and very comfy mattress.
The King room has an ensuite, however the queen rooms have their private bathroom as a separate room. Think of it like being at home, you need to go into the mini hall to go to the bathroom. Like being at home you have a shared kitchen, dining and lounge room.
It is a really lovely stay, my favourite place to stay in West Wyalong!
I have stayed at the Royal Hotel before and loved it but this time all the ensuite rooms were full and with nothing else in town I booked a single room with a shared bathroom. The room is very simple but nicely furnished. There are male and female bathrooms which have been beautifully renovated recently so no worries there and Leif toiletries, hello! The pub downstairs has fabulous meals and friendly staff. Be great if they did weekday breakfast as you won't find a bowl of granola anywhere else in town....
The location is in the heart of West Wyalong main street. Everything is within walking distance. Very clean, authentic upmarket, and neat rooms. The accommodation is different from what is on offer by other accommodation services in this town. Just beautifully set out. Clearly, the owners have deeply thought about the accommodation experience offered to tourists. An outstanding country stay. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed. Not suitable for those who can not manage a flight of stairs.
The motel is a stand out motel on the street. Beautiful gardens and flowers galore.
The rooms were so well kept and modern. Not a speck of dirt or mould nor a cracked tile like most other motels and hotels this place was exceptional. The pool was clean and well kept with toys for the kids to play with.
The staff were friendly and so were the two dogs.
Sarah was wonderful making us feel very welcome. The room was basic but spotlessly clean & roomy enough for us as colleagues. The courtesy bus to The White Tank Hotel was perfect & the pub was wonderful. A few reds, a great feed & then they drove us back to the motel.
The owner Des was incredibly welcoming and helpful with recommendations for dining in West Wyalong. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, and the smart television was a nice bonus as we could stream a movie in the evening!
The location was excellent especially for anyone travelling through West Wyalong and only staying the one night. The room, although very small and very basic was spotlessly clean.
Room wasn't very big but was comfortable and the main issue was pet friendly and the room was perfect for us and our small dog. This was our second stay and it won't be our last.
Good location. Close to everything we needed. Room was clean and had a great shower. All facilities we needed were included. Pet friendly, quiet and good value for money.
the welcome, the air con, the friendly manager. the room is as clean and the beds comfy. west wyalong is a fabulous place to visit and the IGA well stocked.
