We only stayed the one night on our way back to Melbourne from Sydney although we did have a problem with the Elms Restaurant. The waiter dropped a glass of white wine into my son's lap, luckily he was wearing jeans and not a good pair of pants. The meal was great and plenty of it but the account for our meal came to over $140 and we felt that we could have been given a discount on our meal other than 2 mugs of hot chocolate which we were told were free .

Gee town was a bit empty of shops , but what was open was nice, only night life 1 pub hotel not a lot of eating places at night or lite meal offerings But the trip served the purpose relaxed and was well worth while visiting Paddys falls, which was the main reason and objective.

Selwyn Cottage was a great location, quiet and clean, parking was undercover. The bathroom would benefit with a hook to hang your clothes. Had a lovely meal at the golf club, very generous serves, the owners were very friendly and attentive.

Tumbarumba was a lovely little town to stay in.

Tumbarumba was a lovely little town to stay in. Friendly locals and more people moving from the city to these growing communities all the time. I recommend The Nest Cafe for a delicious brunch and great coffee. I think Tumbarumba will definitely be a place to watch over the next couple years! Will certainly be back!

A lovely country town with wonderful views and lots of things to do. It has a bike trail and facilities for mountain biking. Also lovely scenery to visit including Paddy's River Falls, a collection of sculptures and snowfields. Hiking trails available including the Hume and Hovell track. There are lots of local wineries and gin distilleries for tastings. It also has a very informative information centre with a great history of the town. The town has a well stock IGA and some great coffee shops and places to eat. Would recommend to any traveller.

Tumbarumba is central for pleasant short drives to pleasant spots to explore, eat in or picnic. Our accommodation was perfectly placed for a short walk to the main street. The women at the Information Centre were extremely helpful on the local area. We ate at ‘The Nest’ and again the staff were chatty but not intrusive.
