Beautiful location - quiet, peaceful with great outlook over the bush and vineyards. Clean, comfortable cabin with complete amenities, including a fireplace which was great for the colder evenings. Easy to access and the welcoming scones, jam and cream were great. Close to town, wineries and other attractions.

Lovely historic cottage, sympathically modernised inside. I really liked the detailed instructions on using the fireplace, even though I'm reasonably familiar with how to light a fire. Also really liked the supply of some consumables like olive oil, salt and pepper, tea etc, and had we known beforehand it would have saved us bringing them.

This was the best farmstay experience ever! Our host, Judy and and her family were very warm, friendly, and exceptionally hospitable. Our girls enjoyed roaming around the farm very far away from us, a thing they won't try in the city! They were carefree, enjoying chasing the sheep, admiring the alpacas, the horses, chickens, Guinea fowls, pigs and piglets, feeding ducks, playing with dogs and srolling along the dam. If you want a serene, quiet stay, don't think twice, go for it! We had access to homegrown produce..herbs vegetables and eggs. You can go kayaking on the dam. We also enjoyed warm homemade wholemeal bread. The weather was cold..4.4°C but Judy got it all sorted with a fireplace and supplementary electric blankets! A complimentary farm on the last day of our stay was just a cherry on top to sum up my birthday escape and fun filled holiday. Thanks Judy♡
Relaxing holiday for families who enjoy outdoors. Close to Girraween National Park, and a beautiful walk along the river through the middle of town. The Christmas Tree Farm is an enchanting place to visit at any time of the year. We have been to Stanthorpe a few times and love being in a country town away from the city for a while. Food is great! Whether eating at a pub or a local restaurant you’ll get a lovely meal that is great value for money too. The wineries and boutique food producers are fun places to go to as well. It is impossible to say no to a lot of their products - we couldn’t anyway! There is a museum there but we’re saving it for the next time we visit.😊

A widespread choice of activities related to wine and fruit and cheese but with disparate activities such as breathtaking National Park walks within a short drive, a fantastic Christmas Farm that is definitely worth a visit and an overall selection of top shelf dining experiences but with all tastes catered for. The Granite Belt Brewery had incredibly good food, the cheeses were outstanding, as our cool bag can attest. We will be back, and soon, as there is so much more to see. Lovely people too.

Stanthorpe and surrounds are just lovely (especially in the cooler months) with food and wine tours, art and crafts, antiques and more. People are friendly and there is lots to see. Locals even recommended other towns and points of interest to visit (like Warwick and Tenterfield), markets and places to explore. Girraween National Park, Donnelly’s Castle are great spots to check out the massive and precarious boulders - a spectacular natural feature of the area. Cafe at Ballandean St Jude’s Cellar Door and Bistro made a delicious Sunday breakfast - busy with locals, bike riders, and visitors alike (quite busy). Tried to get into a couple of restaurants in Stanthorpe town but they were booked out (Anna’s Italian Restaurant came recommended, but we missed out)! Have been back to the region over they years and always find something new to see or do… but also enjoy returning to some favourite spots.

Most attractions we visited met our expectations.
Most attractions we visited met our expectations. Stanthorpe has a wide range of wineries, spectacular national parks, a wonderful Christmas shop ( trees as well) and a visit in winter is extra nice. I
Firstly, the bed was huge and excellent...SO comfortable!!! We had a great view, it was very quiet and plenty of places to throw a line in the dam. Our cabin was well set out, beautiful and exceptionally clean.
We loved the fact that our chosen breakfast ingredients were already in the cabin as well as everything we required during four night stay.
Deb was lovely, obliging and on for a good ol' yarn. She has a great deal of knowledge of Stanthorpe and surrounding areas.
We highly recommend this very relaxing get away.
Ridgemill Estate is located outside Stanthorpe. It is quiet, the cabin had everything we need including a complimentary bottle of wine. We ordered the gourmet cheese platter which was in our cabin when we arrived so we just unpacked, lit the wood burner and sat down with cheese and wine for the evening. The bed was the best I have slept in. the wood burning stove kept the cabin very cosy. the stars at night were amazing as there is no light pollution. and the goats are very friendly.
New condition of motel and the rooms were very clean, comparable to 5 star hotel standard and were equipped with air con/heating and TV in bedrooms and living room. Bed sheets were new and duck down quilts were very warm for winter conditions. Bath amenities provided shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Nespresso coffee capsules provided with machine and fresh milk. A mini kitchenette and microwave suitable for some basic cooking.
Our Honeysuckle cottage was a great setup and spacious cottage. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed riding around Stanthorpe, great way to see the area and the riding roads are very good (lots minor roads). On arrival we received an enormous and fabulous basket of breakfast foods for our stay – eggs, bacon, jams, bakery, cereal, coffee… wow! Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
Nice place to visit!
This was probably one of the best motels we have stayed in. It was like a luxury hotel room in miniature - the owners have gone to a lot of effort to make sure their guests want for nothing.
They were very welcoming and took the time to give information about the local area.
We only had one day in Stanthorpe so will be returning to explore and will definitely stay here again.
We were met with a very friendly reception at Stannum Lodge and the room was just as we hoped, both in cleanliness and the facilities offered. It was perfect for a night or more stop-over, and a short walk into the centre of Stanthorpe itself. It was very convenient being able to park the car directly in front of the accommodation.
We went there with 4 family groups, the cottage was nice and specious however there’s no heater in the bedrooms. Luckily the fireplace was able to heat up the rooms. Other group who accommodating at model room did not get enough blankets, they’re freezing when air conditioner did not working so well.
The location of this property was exceptional. A slice of serenity. It was the perfect location for our family reunion and the setting added to that special time. We have stayed in many places across the globe and all agreed that this was one of the most special.
Cute cabins with wood fire place inside. Tranquil and quiet amongst the trees. Great shower with very hot water for cold days. Good heater in the room too. Very clean and well maintained. Nice breakfast box. Easy access to the brewery for a drink and a meal.
The location was perfect; close to town and the cabins were nestled in amongst the trees. The sunset view from the top of the property was to die for and well worth the 10 minute walk to the top. A breakfast of cereal and toast was complimentary as well.
We were made very welcome on our arrival. We were given lots of information and ended up doing a beautiful walk along the river that runs through the town. Later dined at Stanthorpe's premier restaurant right next to our accommodation.
The location was excellent, in central Stanthorpe. Lovely and clean and everything you need to enjoy a break away with all the necessary facilities. Host was there to be contacted if you needed them but absolutely non-intrusive.
Family friendly. Hosts Gail and Paul were welcoming and friendly. Meals (additional charge) were delicious. Beds were warm and comfy especially during the winter. Kids were thrilled with being able to help with feeding animals.
Location was 8 minutes out of Stanthorpe and was so peaceful. Accommodation was warm and homely. Our hosts were very friendly and accessible if we needed anything. We highly recommend this property and will definitely be back
