This place has a laid back atmosphere but well run.
This place has a laid back atmosphere but well run. Pets allowed is a big bonus! Far enough from town to be quiet but a short car ride to Burnie. Beach across the road. The dogs loved it.
And.. The staff are nice people.

None of it was best for us denied our money back denied the option to speak to manager staff lying to us about their role positions and being told only booking.com can give us a refund. So now I will have my rights to my money I paid for a room that was not what was advertised if the venue had of been opened after we realised all of this as was late when we actually went to our room we would not of stayed at all

a nice location on the coast with good facilities a happy & helpful staff to help make your stay more memorable. had dinner at the restaurant which had a good selection of meals at reasonable prices.
a good place to stay on the coast as a base for work or sight seeing.
Everything! The hosts were very accommodating. We embarked from the Spirit of Tasmania on New Year's Day and nothing was opened so we headed straight to the motel. Even though we were quite early, they got us a room so we could freshen up. We were there for 5 nights. Room was very comfy and clean. The motel is in a very nice area in Somerset - quiet, walking distance to shops, cafes, IGAs, and buses to Burnie and Wynyard, across from a park and river, and a short walk to the beach.
Despite dreadful weather, we were quite warm and fairly comfortable (with the 1 aircon) and the cottage had most things you'd need, including a spare (and needed) doona. Although there's not much to see/do in the village, Somerset does have free parking (unlike Burnie), and a good cafe & a bakery.
Comfortable bed.
Room, bathroom and bedding was clean and fresh.
Food in the hotel was pleasant if a bit pricey.
Was surprisingly quiet considering the proximity Of our room to the car park and kitchen and dining room, which was packed the night we stayed.
We’ve been staying at this hotel on a regular basis for the last 2 months, after running a local market stall all day. It’s a little gem. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The room price is excellent, and happy hour from 5.30-6.30 p.m. is a bonus!
The facilities in the hotel rooms were excellent, each room had new private bathrooms and everything was absolutely spotless. There was also a very large parking area for my motorcycle.
This is a bonus location right near the Cam River and next to the pristine Somerset beach.
The host Liam went above and beyond and said moly could not have been nicer.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were awesome. The rooms were clean and comfortable and exceptionally good for the price. Great quick stop over.
