Having the bar downstairs was fun. It was a colourful crowd, great bar staff and good atmosphere. Proximity to the Grand Prix track and MCG was really good. The St Kilda area in general was a nice place to hang out. The staff were really friendly. The food from the kitchen was really good.

Accommodation was comfortable and perfect for our overnight stay. We ate in the bistro and the meal was nice, the free complimentary drink each was a bonus. This property is not worth your time or money.
This property is not worth your time or money. It was absolutely filthy from top to bottom. There was long black hair throughout the property, pubic hairs in the bed, finger marks on every surface, a previous customers fake nail and Bobby pins laying on the floor, filthy toilets with body hair on them, mould in two of the bathrooms, foot marks on the floor boards (from a previous guest who was obviously wet and walked throughout the property), bathroom photos on booking.com do not reflect what you actually get...and the list continues. They people in charge of the property seemed to care when I wrote an email to them upon arrival, however when someone came to clean the property, he spot cleaned on of the lounge room and didn’t fix any of the other cleanliness issues. Take it from someone who has stayed here....DONT submit yourself to this!

Sandringham beach is just over the road from the Hotel. It is a nice sandy beach. There is an elevated reserve along cliffs between Beach Rd and the beach with walkways giving nice vistas of the Bay. Beach is good for bathing/sunbaking on a hot day. Sandringham itself is a neat and affluent Melbourne beachside suburb. Public transport is good and the 'village' area is well serviced with cafes, restaurants. It is pleasant but not really a tourist destination unless you are looking to chill out and enjoy being by the sea.NeilFBurnellAustralia

Comfy beds, fresh clean small room, view of the bay, close to Train, great cafes and we had delicious meal at The Sandy Grillhouse, omg that Eye Fillet was spot on, wish i had a few more bites left. Creme brulee oh yum. Free onsite parking. Free soft drink and bottle water and pretzels in mini bar. We will be back for certain, perhaps I should not tell everyone.

We enjoyed walking to all of the nearby beaches with our little dog (who especially loved Sandringham dog beach). The unit is clean, comfy and quiet and has everything needed for a great stay. We are looking forward to coming back!
