Rochester is always a favourite place to come back to.
Rochester is always a favourite place to come back to. My partner Dean grew up in Rochie so we are always coming back to see our friends. Everyone is extremely friendly. It's great to see Rochie coming back to life after the devasting floods. We can't wait to return. Best butcher in town "Cottam's Family Butchers" and all you need at "Major's IGA", "Rochester Bakery for great yummy treats and pies and so much more in town!

‘Rochy” is a nice little town , close to Echuca and possessing some appealing features. The cafés are good - all day brekky at Kits Kafe was good , as was the coffee. Pub food good and helpings large. The silo art is being expanded and certainly worth viewing. Pizza shop very good. We went for a birthday bash and enjoyed the experience.

The silo art especially at night was spectacular. The mural art was also inspiring. The walk along the Campaspe River is beautiful, we caught a red fin the second throw of the line. The museums were very special, especially the Lions Club sports museum especially the story of John Forbes we need more people like this man in the world. It was a family stay and there was so much to do and enjoy. The local bakery was beyond reasonably priced. Just a beautiful town with very friendly and welcoming locals. Definitely worth a stay with something for everyone.

Rochester is a gorgeous small country town with a great hotel for meals, great cafes for brekkie and lunch and some nice shops. Always enjoy a stay in Rochester and it is now part of the silo trail with the recent addition of the painted silos near the heart of town.

Rochester is a lovely small country town on the road between Bendigo and Echuca. It has many Heritage buildings and is well kept. There are two beautifully painted silos near the railway line and a statue commemorating Hubert Opperman, an Australian cycling champion and politician.
We found a great little cafe for breakfast next to the Shamrock Hotel. A real gem!
