Close to Great Ocean Road attractions, but Peterborough has little in the way of food and dining options. We had to drive 15mins back to Port Campbell to have dinner and breakfast. Would be fine if you plan to self cater in accommodation with a kitchen. Very nice scenery.

Peterborough is a lovely smaller town which takes you away from the hussell and bussell of busy Port Campbell, but still being within 12 kilometres for easy visiting. The beach is beautiful and very accessable and the views are breath taking where ever you go along the Bay of Islands Coastal Park.

Peterborough was good for a central location for visiting other places within 90 minutes. It was a nice quiet place. We enjoyed our hotel / inn meal on the day we arrived. It would have been good to have a few other eating options but Port Campbell was not too far away. Nice quiet place to visit and get away from the crowds.

The place was beautiful.
The place was beautiful. Unfortunately we had to come home due to the Government locking us down it was very disappointing as I didn't want to leave. Even worse we didn't get our money back for the night we were not there for. My partner has had no work due to COVID and it was his birthday weekend to not receive my money back I cried all the way home. It was not my fault.

We didnt get to see alot of Peterborough, due to arriving late in the day, checking into our accommodation, then heading straight out again to sight see along the Great Ocean Road and only spending one night there. What we did see though, was a pretty little town that looked very clean and inviting which was conveniently located within a very short drive to the main sight seeing lookout spots along the Great Ocean Road, The 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge to name a couple.
Although we were notified when we booked our accommodation we were disappointed there was only one place that served an evening meal which was the Hotel in Peterborough between 6pm to 8pm. Had meals been served earlier we could have eaten earlier, and then gone sight seeing, however, we had to have our evening meal in the next town as we knew we wouldn't arrive back to Peterborough before 8pm.

It was great to visit Peterborough in Victoria.
It was great to visit Peterborough in Victoria.
I was born in Peterborough in South Australia.
I am glad I stayed there.
It was a peaceful destination and a time of reflection.
It’s easy to get around Peterborough as it isn’t a big town.
I enjoyed the venue and relaxed.
Nice decor, and rooms were large and the skin care that comes with the hotel is amazing. Would like to request maybe wash the pillow covers on the sofa, they don't smell nice at all. Also note that we have to travel to the other side of Peterborough to grab food, which at night it could be very dark, it's like 12mins ride, there is brekky at the hotel though. But apart from that, we had a fantastic overnight stay.
Great location near beach access and local playground. Rooms are well decorated and clean with quality soap provided in the restroom. The common room with dining table, microwave, toys, and dishwasher is really nice as the rooms are not suitable for dining in per se. The in-house restaurant/cafe serves up some good food and the owners/staff are first-rate.
Great location with easy access to all the nearby attractions of the Shipwreck Coast. Neat little cabins, with super comfortable beds and with great kitchenette and hot full pressure shower. Really good coffee from caravan in the morning! The kids absolutely loved the jumping pillow and the games room. All in all a great stay and would come back again!
Bed was super comfortable. Jim was very responsive and helpful. It was great to have use of a full stove and if needed, washing machine. Very big TV. Internet speed was fast and no connectivity issues. Peterborough is an excellent alternative location to Port Campbell--all the sights without the busyness.
Lovely accommodation, the private garden is a nice touch, great facilities. It was so peaceful, just the sound of waves nearby. Highly recommend taking the cliff top walk to the local store. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice and clean bedroom with good bed and linen.
Also bathroom looks new and it’s clean.
Living room is a real room, not just a corner, and nice sofa and others.
Very near Great Ocean Drive and western top-spots.
