Location was great. Very near Triabunna jetty to Maria Island. Mary made delicious croissants and choc au pain as well as the yummiest hard boiled eggs for us. If lucky, you get to see bunnies and wallabies from your room. Lots of birds too.

We had the most amazing stay. Such a wonderful, super comfortable, stylish and well appointed cottage. There is nothing that we needed, that was wasn't provided, and in fact it surpassed all our expectations. The fireplace inside warmed up the place quickly and we enjoyed every moment. The ample breakfast was lovely too. We cannot recommend the Storekeeper's highly enough.

Used Orford as a convenient stop for Maria Island Ferry and a half day trip to Freycinet National Park. Because we were on the road at mealtimes didnt eat at hotel restaurant. Enjoyed the coastal scenery and even the inland rural spots when we got lost.Stephen Bennetts - 10Scored 10
Orford was a nice stay for us.
Orford was a nice stay for us. If you want to visit places at the upper parts of Tasmania, then this is a perfect place. The place where we stayed was also quieter. At one side you will visit Cradle Mountains, zoo and on the other side you will visit Jacob's Ladder. Roads and nature views are beautiful and green. There are couple of restaurants in the city. We ate at Kaffir Lime Thai restaurant, and it was delicious. A nice place to stay indeed.MEHEDIAustralia - 10Scored 10

We took the ferry from Triabunna to Maria Island for a day...
We took the ferry from Triabunna to Maria Island for a day visit, a lovely experience. We then stayed in Orford in order to run/walk the parkrun at Our Park on the Saturday morning. It is a lovely course along the sea front with great views and very friendly volunteers.
