Nundle is a beautiful, tidy, friendly little town. We could have stayed on a few more days, would have liked to go hiking. There are a few "attractions" in Nundle that are worth visiting, overall a quiet and relaxing place.

There was a group of 12 travelling together and staying at the Peel Inn. It was a great venue for our group. Lovely gathering spaces and excellent cooked breakfast. We ate at the dining room at the Inn for dinner and enjoyed the food. We visited the woollen mills which is across the street and the other lovely shops in the town. A great place to stop for a weekend stay.

Nundle has a history steeped in gold mining.

Nundle has a history steeped in gold mining. A picturesque village in an idyllic quiet location. Craft store, various stores, museum, community garden, amazing gem collection, great food at The Peel Inn, and fabulous shopping at the famous Nundle Woollen Mill. Just up the hill is the beautiful Sheba Dam, Hanging Rock and further on the Arc en Ciel Trout Farm. Definitely worth a visit for a night or few.

We only stayed overnight to do the Nundle wool mill tour the next morning , so for us the one night stay was plenty. The town is quiet , and not large but we didnt really look around too much. The pub served a nice meal, reasonably priced
