The best (and only thing) to do was a visit to the Aviation Museum. It was great. Everything else was very poor. Meals at both USM and Bowling club were not good, service was poor. Accommodation at the Stockman Motor Inn was disgusting!

Went to Narromine United Services Memorial Club about 6:30 pm on a Thursday and I was the only diner in the dining room. The distances shown from centre on booking.com for Stockman Motor Inn and Abbey Bed and Breakfast are wrong.

I was passing through, of which I couldn't, due to flooding, of which NSW live traffic said I could, not happy, had to back track, a waste if a trip and money. We just love country towns; their histories, people and...
We just love country towns; their histories, people and sporting and other legends; Narromine is all of that. We loved the Craft shops and the coffee shop next to Coles. The hospitality at the Narromine Hotel and the RSL were very good and our stay at the Peppercorn Motel likewise. Liked the layout and fairways of the Narromine Golf Course and think it is a worthy place for State level events. God willing and the Creeks don't rise, we will be back.
