Lots of things to do in the Perth Hills - including fruit picking, wineries, water park, bush walking, out door cinema and Mundaring Weir.
I turned this into a relaxing holiday by getting massages on two of the three days I stayed.
Great place to unwind and enjoy nature and activities.

I love the hiking trails around Mundaring.
I love the hiking trails around Mundaring. A visit to the Mundaring Weir is always beautiful and it's lovely to see so much water in there at this time of the year. The Mundaring Hotel was a nice place to eat and sit in the sunshine. Everything you need is in town, the shops and cafes are lovely. Loads of parks for the kids and grown-ups alike.
It's a great place to visit if you like getting out in nature.

Plenty to do if your an outdoors type of person with plenty to look at and walk trails.
Could easily spend a week exploring the area around the Weir on its own.
Easy to get around.

Great area, and I recommend the Dome restaurant for breakfasts and light evening meals.
The John Forest national park is a lovely place for a few days hiking, as in day hikes.
The visitor centre very helpful too.
It’s almost right in Mundaring. Excellent place to stay for access to national parks, Kep track and the heritage trail. Absolutely fantastic rooms, great communication (both nights were a bit last minute and late check in!) we were meant to head to the coast on Saturday but the kid liked Travellers Rest so much we booked a second night
Location was great. Easy access and parking. Clean with all I needed except a washing machine or laundry for those rooms that have no built in laundry. I was there for 4 nights and did not get into mundaring to use the public laundromat. No biggy just a washing machine available would be great.
It was the first time we stayed in a family hotel. The room was clean, tidy, warm and romantic. Like any other hotel, it had everything we needed. Unlike other hotels, this is more like home. Thank you very much for everything the landlord did for us.
The hotel had an area for the kids to play basketball and ride around on their scooters.
you can see how amazing the hotel COULD be but it must have been years ago that it was last up to any kind of hygiene standards.
Alan and Eva went above and beyond to make my first days in Perth exceptionally welcoming and comfortable. Truly wonderful people and I cannot recommend their accommodation highly enough!
It was a quiet cabin in mundaring that was perfect for a little getaway. The views were pretty and the fire was nice. The cooking facilities allowed us to cook a nice meal each night
The location was better than I expected, look forward to coming back for an outside concert if I can. Sorry we did not have breakfast at Hotel, maybe next time.
