Mullumbimby Studio, hotel in Mullumbimby

Situated in Mullumbimby, 22 km from Cape Byron Lighthouse and 23 km from Byron Bay Golf Course, Mullumbimby Studio features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi.

Very well appointed studio at the back of the owner’s house accessible via well lit and maintained stone pathway to the side of the house. Comfortable bed, couch and plenty of cupboard space and all amenities for kitchenette in room. Huge bathroom. Comfortable temperature due to large ceiling fan, aircon available but not needed in this time of the year. Fully screened, so can leave windows open. Small sitting area on deck. Very private feel, comfortable for overnight or a couple of days stay. Kitchen and laundry available in the main house, but had no use for that. Friendly dog named Curly and his owner Jim, who came to greet us. He even rang us when on our way to let us know he would be out by the time we’d arrive.

The Sails Motel Brunswick Heads, hotel in Mullumbimby

After an extensive 3 month renovation, The Sails Motel is re-opening November 2023 with totally refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces.

Everything was considered about the decorating and design, it was aesthetically pleasing, even the shampoo and conditioner was amazing! The pool and bar were nice and such a quick walk to the restaurant downstairs, the cafe next door and the Main Street! Would recommend

    Lovely little Town.

Lovely little Town. Enjoyed the stores, the Middle Pub, especially the food in the restaurant prepared by their Italian Chef. The stores surrounding were just gorgeous. Cafe's ...just a general lovely welcoming vibe with friendly people.

A great little country town with all the wonderful things you expect in a small town. Great bakery with good coffee and rolls. Meals were very cheap and tasty at the pub. It seems to have a good nightlife of a weekend, not sure about the weeknights. People were all super friendly.

It's a beautiful town with very nice shops and cafes around, the river is a great feature, friendly people and only 15min drive from the ocean. We had breakfast both days at The Patch cafe, fantastic little place with beautiful outside seating, great coffe and food options. I would avoid staying at the Middle Pub unless you don't mind loud music late at night. The food is great though, so definitely go there for a bite and a beer!

Mullumbimby Middle Pub is the last bastion of cool old...

Mullumbimby Middle Pub is the last bastion of cool old school pub stays on the North Coast of New South Wales. A charming Old workers pub with the wrought iron verandah trimmings giving it the Aussie classic feel. A wonderful breeze of an evening after a humid and muggy day. The locals are an eclectic mix of haves and have nots, but they all get along in general. The staff are amazing and will help to no end whether it be where to go, what to see or just general quiries. It is what it is. If you want the Mercedes driving, high maintenance ideals then head to Byron Bay as that place was commercialized out the wazoo by Paul Hogan and John Cornell in the early 90's. That's where the "Beautiful People" go to visit if you're that way inclined. Mulum is an old school experience with many and varied folk milling about all day long. If you are a traveller by spirit, then this is the place. If you're a tourist looking for happy snaps of your overpriced, delectable meals and beach photos with out wanting the back story, then go to Byron, under all the fancy lights and fake people. SIMPLE.
