Amazing views, very friendly and attentive host, and one of the cleanest (private) stay experiences I've ever had. Scott takes great care of his place and his guests - we would always come back. Bonus: great location for bird watching!

A Loft In The Mill Boutique Accommodation, hotel in Montrose

This 4.5-star, award-winning property is located opposite Olinda Village, at the top of the Dandenong Ranges. The Puffing Billy Railway and Yarra Valley’s wineries are 15 minutes' drive away.

Olinda is a wonderful area and A Loft In The Mill suited perfectly. The loft suite was lovely for my husband, our adult daughter, and me. The heater was on to welcome us on a chilly late arrival our first night. The provisions for simple breakfasts were just right for our two mornings there. On our checkout day we also indulged in a massage at Nourish Spa on site, which was so nice.

Montrose was great and had all the shops we needed and was a short drive to some great walk locations. The chocolate shop there is a thriving metropolis and a place to visit for anybody who loves chocolate...... oh and coffee. Get in early as parking fills up quite quickly!

Our stay at The Barn house was amazing, we arrived to have the fire light and were welcomed by Peter how was so open, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the set out of the accommodation was comfortable. We will be staying again and will also suggest to family and friends to book the Barn house for their next holiday.

This property should be on everyone's bucket list.

This property should be on everyone's bucket list. It is extremely clean, and oozes luxury. Everything you need is within walking distance - groceries, eateries, cafes, Harndorf's Fine Chocolate shop and cafe, and La Lupa Romana - an amazing, little Italian restaurant. This delightfully scenic property is nestled between the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges and is an ideal location without the high Yarra Valley tariffs.
