The view really sums it up: it has a lovely view, a large balcony and an additional huge terrace.
The house is all wood inside and is really large. It has a well equipped kitchen, extra fridge for fish, 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, it really has place for big groups/ families. Beds are good.
All good.

I was happy to tick this one off my bucket list and it did not disappoint. It is a quiet hamlet with enough dining options to be interesting but not much else to keep you interested. The recreation choices are pretty limited especially if you're not a fisherman. The walk along the waterfront was pleasant, and we were thrilled to find a second route along Beach Road which took us to another marina and up a steep hill to the back of the spa centre. Close enough to Lakes Entrance for a drive and to pick up more specific provisions.

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about metung , it’s a beautiful little hamlet , quiet , peaceful and lots of bird life in the area ,
If u enjoy walking and just being around water it’s perfect , the only negative is that the after hours food choices are limited like a pizza place and a pub are ur choices , however , u can cook up a bbq or supply ur own food from a very high priced little general store , better to pre stock before y come into the town ,if planning on a few days there

Metung is a beautiful secluded village with stunning marina, charming shops, beautiful views, fabulous food and super friendly locals welcoming us to town at all our interactions.
We enjoyed total relaxation at the Metung Hot Springs, having been to the Peninsula Hot Springs, we were keen to visit the East Gippsland version - be aware this is a big venture under construction and does not have the full number of hot pools as does the Peninsula version; but don't let that hold you back ! While there are less pools, it is definitely worth your time for the relaxation and to support this fabulous development.
We loved our meals at Cafe Chez Joe, delicious Beef Rendang and our dinner at the Metung Hotel, freshest seafood and beautiful views. They were 'booked out', but we wandered in at 7.15 and we were provided a table straight away. The market was filled with talent, the bakery had some lovely fare and The Local has delicious pizza and a great array of the best salads.
We stayed in lovely accommodation in a natural bushy environment. The water front accommodation looks fabulous - maybe next time, however we were super happy with our accommodation at Gilly's Guesthouse and we will definitely return to Gilly's and to Metung!

Nice cosy place away from all the hustle and bustle. Beautiful scenery, lovely place to watch sunset. Highly recommend Metung Hot Springs, a piece of heaven that is so good for the soul. Lakes entrance is only 10mins drive. Everything you need from the Metung Village is only a hop skip and a jump.

A very relaxing and peaceful place.
A very relaxing and peaceful place. Great walk from accommodation along the boardwalk into town where we had a delicious meal at the Metung Hotel and breakfast at the local cafe. Food and drinks at both places were amazing.
Gillys Guesthouse is a great find! It's nestled in a tranquil backdrop a few minutes drive from Metung Village. From the comfortable beds, well appointed bathroom to the free Netflix and the coffee pod machine, your every need is covered - and the host is friendly and responsive. The cherry on top was waking to rosellas on the balcony. Five stars!
It was great to see jo and mark understand what is required for a family visiting for holiday and stay. Provided breakfast so that we do not need to go looking for it in the morning after arriving late. Location was absolutely great location to feel the rural feel with animals and fields and sunrise. It is beyond to express in words.

We had a lovely off-peak holiday in Metung staying in the comfortable Edgewater Terraces. Our terrace had water views of Chinaman’s Creek and boat moorings. it was an easy walk (approx 1.8km) to shops & restaurants via the boardwalk.
Nice place with big backyard for pets running and bbq area to enjoy your family and friends.
Close to everything in Metung with just minutes walking.

Will definatly come back in the future.
Location is good. Although away from Metung Village (2 mins drive), the accommodation is just along the boardwalk and the unit I stayed in is across the pier. The unit is spacious too. The hosts are friendly and helpful.
