Mapleton is a quiet area close to natural beauty. Not too far to travel for a light meal. Fish and chips great, meals at Mapleton Tavern. Coastal and country views. Good location for a base. Not too far to drive to Flaxton, Montville and onto Maleny.

Mapleton is one of a string of small villages along the Blackall Range ridge with access to lots of rainforest walks, long and short, lakes, cafes, shops, galleries and restaurants. The Mapleton Tavern had good food and was open on a Monday night when many other venues were closed. Mapleton is much smaller and quieter than its neighbours Maleny and Montville and a nice alternative with less passing tourist traffic.

Over several years both couples have visited Mapleton, Montville and Malaney and always included Eumundi Market on a Wednesday as part of each trip. Enough shopping for anyone, and for those with the O.B.E. (over bloody eighty) easily embraced, or ignored!

Mapleton is central to many tourist attractions e.g Australia Zoo, enjoyable drive along the range taking in Maleny through to Kenilworth for some dairy products and ice-cream at the Kenilworth Dairy and a scenic drive up to Mapleton via the Obi Obi Rd. Taking in the many of the falls, as well as the Maleny Cheese and Maleny Dairy Tours etc. A pleasant and short drive to coast.
This property is located in a quiet location close to Mapleton township. We had a lovely view out over the valley and the rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable with ALL the amenities you could wish for!
The refrigerator was well stocked with milk, juice, bread, croissants, jams, butter etc and breakfast cereals, coffee capsules... were also supplied.
The owner, Renee, and her sons looked after us so very well.
Reception was very friendly. Facilities were super nice. It was a nice feature that everything was off the grid. Definitely enjoyed the double patio bath tubs with a sunset view. Would recommend to others if visiting the area, especially with Mapleton National Park just down the road that has a nice lookout.
great location for hike to Baxter falls/ mapleton falls. Good communication from staff. very generous sized rooms, comfortable beds and great shower with good pressure and hot, hot water- just what we needed after a day hiking in the rain. great kitchen facilities. beautiful grounds and gardens.
Myself, my partner, and three friends stayed at the “homestead” at Clouds Mapleton. It was very spacious, plenty of room for a group of friends or a family, and very clean. Beautiful patio for a lovely view as well. Would recommend and come back if ever staying in the area.
We loved our mid week getaway to Mapleton. House of Mahalo BnB was a gorgeous place to stay - great peaceful location, with everything you need. Rennee was a wonderful thoughtful host - thank you for everything. We will definitely be back!
Great location. Close to Mapleton and Montville village but hidden away in the woods for privacy and closeness to nature. Super clean and pleasant. Fantastic wood burner for colder and cosy nights. Very friendly owners.
Beautiful surroundings, only a few minutes from Mapleton. We loved the amenities and the studio had everything we needed. The best thing was Willy’s freshly made breakfasts every morning, they were delicious!
Very comfortable beds, enough room for 10 people, very nicely renovated inside, fire pit was great, great location close to Mapleton and Montville, We had an issue but it was sorted quickly and efficiently.
June and Charlie were perfect hosts and provided us with an excellent cooked breakfast. We would have no hesitation in returning there and highly recommend the Lodge for an overnight stay in Mapleton.
Absolutely beautiful spot! just across the road from Mapleton National Park. Could hear the waterfall from our cabin. Cabin is thoughtfully designed to be a perfect romantic get away.
