Great selection of Wineries close by and within approximately twenty minutes driving time. Lyra is a very scenic place which is lovely to walk around and you can take a short drive to Giraween National Park which has both short and long walks and is well worth visiting. Ballandean Tavern is close which serves great pub food. There is also a local shop at Ballandean which is handy. Our favourite place to eat in the area is The Barrel Room at Ballandean Winery which serves consistently gorgeous food.

The location is perfect, the home is well appointed, the facilities great, recommend the local wineries. For interesting and fabulous tasting try the Twisted Gum, just up the road. Lunch at the Brass Monkey Brewery and a drop of any of their delicious ales, well worth the visit.
