I loved the place i stayed in.

I loved the place i stayed in. Trying to find a place to eat in town after the last train is gone is very hard. Only Tropical Zen is open (they have a very limited menu), all restaurants and cafes shut around 3-4 pm unless you want fish and chips.. From where i was staying it was a short drive into town. I walked from the Skyrail station to the Barron Fals which is a beautiful walk and doesnt take as long as the sign says. It does have a lot of steps tho. I definitely recommend the walk.

We really enjoyed Kuranda and its surroundings.

We really enjoyed Kuranda and its surroundings. It's a quirky place and a haven for its (touristic) shopping. There are also many coffee shops and small restaurants for an excellent lunch. And of course, its surrounding nature, i.e. the rainforest with its lookouts, waterfall, etc..

Loved the location, close to Kuranda.

Loved the location, close to Kuranda. The farm stay has horses, sheep, goats and lots of other animals wondering around the farm which was lovely. Very basic cabins. More like camping but clean and fine. No indoor area so need the weather to be nice. The first day one of the owners let the kids feed the animals which they loved. A highlight. The second day when I asked the other owner who wasn’t friendly at all if we could feed the animals, she said no not today. We were only there for 2 days so it was disappointing. We were the only ones there too so didn’t understand why. It felt unnecessary.

Kuranda is an Artisan village with many attractions for people to enjoy. There is a large Foodworks and hotel/bottlo facilities as well as plenty of accommodation of all types. Lots of cafes and restaurants as well. The markets are world renowned and have many items not seen elsewhere. The people are friendly and informative and the surroundings are beautiful. Cairns is also easily accessible, only half an hour away. The skyway was closed due to Covid restrictions although the scenic railway was operating :)

Kuranda is such a quaint tropical town, lots of shopping and opportunities to experience nature. We visited bird world and I could have stayed there all day! We did some light shopping and found some wonderful items that were handmade, unique and didn't break the bank.

Kuranda is a very tourist driven place, that operates basically from morning until 3pm when tourists visit. It is more though. It is beautifully situated in the mountains, cool, refreshing and offering more than just a day visit. We took our time and enjoyed the experience. I am not sure what the locals do at night, a couple of eateries open at night would have been great.

This is a stunning place. Beautiful landscape and location. The owner is really someone very special, and he was very helpful and nice. He was very quick in solving an issue with the cleaning and was particularly helpful. This is no boutique hotel. The rooms are small, like sleeping in a caravan. But when you open the door the landscape takes your breath away. Sitting there at dusk, in silence, just listing to the animals, is the best. Kuranda is about 7 minutes away by car.

We loved this cute and charming cabin. It was cosy, simple and rustic, felt full of history and set in beautiful thick rainforest. The bed was very comfy and cosy and the private deck perfect to relax amongst the trees. My husband loved the extra outdoor shower too. Very friendly and helpful owner, we will stay here again I hope. We also loved the position deep in the forest, difficult I guess to access if you don't have a car, but close enough to Kuranda for shopping etc.

Beautifully furnished, with attention to every detail. Lovely cosy bed, stylish kitchenette and sleek, modern bathroom. This place is fabulous; it has a clean, warm, stylish feel, and Susan and David are wonderful hosts. They helped us out with lifts and gave us recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. We felt it was a genuine pleasure to stay here and we would love to come again. A real slice of heaven in the rainforest, and a hidden Kuranda gem.

This was an amazing vacation rental. Sue and Jason were incredible hosts. The property is gorgeous and off the beaten track. Or kids loved the chickens, and collecting passion fruit off the vines. The accomodation was very comfy and quite with everything you need available. We really enjoyed taking the time to stay in Kuranda instead of just a day visit, so I really recommend coming up here to visit. Truely excellent vacation rental!

Cedar Park Rainforest Resort exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is even more spacious and the surrounds even more lush and beautiful than in the photos. Love the hammocks everywhere. Absolutely loved the deck with its outlook, its table-tennis table, bar and children's toys. Loved the Pizza night we were fortunate enough to be there for. Peter is a super-friendly and helpful host.

A nice quiet location, away from the main highway and away from the bustle that Kuranda can generate. Set on a nice plot of land ideal for a short walk, or walk around the whole block if you're looking for more exercise. This is a beautiful part of Queensland and Kuranda has a lot for tourists. Highly recommended.

Patrick and Sue are AMAZING hosts! They were very attentive and helpful. We had some great chats together with their birds (Zsa Zsa, Coco, Bubbles and Fritz!) The property and accommodations are beautiful with a nice breeze and rain falling. It was the best place to unwind. This is THE place to stay in Kuranda ❤️

Setting was lovely, room was nice, adjacent games room filled with interesting collectables and activities. About 10 minutes by car to Kuranda village so convenient though totally isolated from road down a winding driveway. Peace!

Beautiful little cottage backing onto rainforest. Comfortable beds and a well kitted out kitchen. It was great having a washing machine and dryer. Beautifully quiet after the crowds in Kuranda. Would highly recommend it.

Private bush stay, felt I was really remote yet close to Kuranda. Self contained and very cosy. Best place for a sunset. Can watch the stars all night from your bed, very romantic.
