The property was in a beautiful location and well laid out. It was very clean and tidy. A peaceful location too. We woke up to the sound of chooks and a magpie warbling. It was lovely. The bed was very comfortable.

    Goomeri has friendly welcoming locals.

Goomeri has friendly welcoming locals. Its shops are inviting and interesting. Our unit listed all eateries and places of interest, not only for Goomeri but nearby towns and villages which encourages visitors to stay a little longer. We will encourage our families to visit this region and stay at Goomeri Motel.

Although it appears to be at the intersection of a busy series of roads, Goomeri is a pretty village with several popular and well presented cafes and a variety of small businesses. It is close to Boathouse Mountain Conservation Park and Kimbombi Falls and directly on the KKRT (Kingaroy to Kilkivan Rail Trail).

We decided for new year this year to go to the bush and give our dollars to small communities that need our business, we enjoyed our stay, we visited the Goomeri rodeo on new years eve that was well run and well supported. All in all, very happy we decided to support the small bush town this year.
