It’s a nice historical place where it’s also convenient to board the ferry to Rottnest Island . The Foods & Beverage scene is very vibrant , not just within Fremantle but also the neighbouring areas like Cottesloe .

Fremantle felt very safe, full of history and beautiful old buildings and loads of statues, flat and very accessible to all attractions. Plenty of pubs, coffee shops, eateries and restaurants to choose from. No need for a car. Ferry access to Rottnest Island only 30 mins away and we caught the ferry to Perth which was a lovely way to end our stay at Fremantle.

Fremantle has a warm, nostalgic place in my heart but over the years it has become decidedly tatty. Yes, it has history to offer but the general atmosphere in the town is one of cafés, eateries and non-descript shops offering uninteresting souveniers. The Fremantle town council is badly in need of a strategy to create a town that serves the broader community beyond a place to drink coffee any time in the week

Freemantle is a wonderful old town, which has retained its culture. We really enjoyed visiting the Round House (a former jail), for the info about it and the views!!!!!! Also so easy to get to the port to go to Rottnest Island. The Quest is a 2 min walk from tbere, making it so accessible

The adjacent outside bar was fantastic - friendly bar staff, terrific craft beers (especially the Dunkel), great sound-track, a very relaxing late afternoon venue. The large mural on the wall of the adjacent building is worth seeing. Kitchen had everything you would need, and the washing machine/ tumble dryer were so handy. Apartment was clean and very quiet. We emailed about car parking for the night before we left the apartment and our request was dealt with very promptly. Would recommend this property.

On the weekends Fremantle is a busy bustling vibrant precinct with loads of restaurants, cafes, bars to enjoy. The unit was light and airy spotlessly clean and well equipped with a tiny balcony.

The photographer said it was one of the best hotel rooms he’d seen in Perth. The staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much to ask. I was wondering how the noise from the bar would go but you can barely here a thing, I found the slight noise comforting. Wish I could have stayed another night!
