Position was beautiful.picturesque! Cabins apart, green, river close , not noisy. Bed comfortable, lounge comfortable after walking! Kitchen had tea, essentials . Cooktop bit slow but did the job! Quiet. Bathroom good, supplied things! Shower small but hot!!needed air conditioner on to warm up as cold, no rugs in main living area.

Beautiful house in breathtaking scenery. Merino Cottage is so gorgeous and cosy with wood fireplace set up by Pip upon our arrival. We appreciate the thoughtful breakfast provisions, the home made raspberry jam was so delicious that we eaten all. We enjoyed walking down the paddock to the river and boat ramp and looked at passing sheep's was a great experience for us. Highly recommended!!!

    Fentonbury isn't a village with shops but it is a lovely...

    Fentonbury isn't a village with shops but it is a lovely rural setting along the lines of what we expected. It's less than 30 mins from Maydena Bike Park which was the reason we stayed there. There is a petrol station only a few minutes down the road on the way to Maydena.
