Lovely, cozy, little cottage on the side of a farm! We absolutely loved our stay! Lisa made us feel at home right away :) We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely the bedroom looked with the decorations, especially the fairy lights. The cleanliness and the interior design of the cottage is just a pleasure to one's eyes! Loved the complimentary chocolates for Easter too! Wouldn't have second thoughts of coming back! P.S. to anyone keen - there's a surprisingly large selection of board games too!

We enjoyed fresh mussels we bought from Portalington pier near Drysdale. The mussels were packed in the insulated box with ice in it securely to cook or to bring home as special gift for friends. If you bring your ingredients from your favourite recipes to cook with these fresh mussels (remember to bring equipment to clean mussel shelves before cooking ) you can create a five star dinner with a very minimal cost within a short time.

The rail trail from Drysdale to Queenscliff was fabulous. About 35km return. Great views. Great coffee at The Wharf in Queenscliff. The Bungalow Cafe in Drysdale serves great coffee plus had a good range of breakie grub at good prices.

The house was ideal for a family. Large kitchen/lounge area and large out door sitting area with a fire pit. There was 27 of us from 3 years old to 74 years old. we had plenty of room. Everything was clean and in very good condition. I highly recommend Bellarine Lodge.

We stayed 2 night at Drysdale and had an amazing time! Close to so many wineries, you will definitely find some hidden gems along the Grub Road, and close to Geelong and Clifton Springs. Highly recommend to visit The Dell in Clifton Springs.

Drysdale was a great base.
Drysdale was a great base. The property was a short car drive to the local supermarket and city centre including the local hotel/pub. We were able to go on short trips and even longer trips from there and return with ease.

Now that restrictions have eased in Melbourne we travelled to the Bellarine for a welcomed break. We booked last minute and could not have been happier with our choice. The room was massive, so clean and the air con was perfect! A short drive to Queenscliff and Ocean Grove - we love to go opshopping so this was a perfect base for us. The owner was so lovely - we will 100% be back. Definitely our new spot to stay on the Bellarine.

Beautiful location overlooking the lake. Easy walk to have morning coffee at the lake. Bus stop a short walk although can walk to Drysdale Village with ease through the recreation park. Highly recommend for some gentle & peaceful relaxation.

Perfect location for family reunion and wedding on The Bellarine. With a hire car it was possible to take day trips from Drysdale. Public transport nearby also and very good taxi and car hire within the area.
